i looked down at my outfit in the mirror before lifting up the ends of my dress slightly before dropping it and turning around to look at my mum who was sat on the bed.
"Are you sure this isn't going to scare him off. we're just going for a walk isnt a dress too much?" i question slouching as I fixed my hair.
"I think you look beautiful," she said as she slapped my shoulders back. "as long as your posture is good".
I smiled slightly before I heard the doorbell before freezing. "I suggest you go get the door before your father does" my eyes widened at the thought before I slipped on my shoes and ran to the door opening it before coming face to face with a bunch of flowers.
i looked around them and saw the boy who I was going on a date with. "Isaac?" i laughed as he lowered the flowers.
"oh sorry, um I got these for you." i smiled and was given them, i smiled down at them before placing them in the vase in the hallway.
"we should go before my dad realises your here" I smiled slightly and slid my hair behind my ear as I shut the door while Isaac laughed. we walked down the path to our local lake and decided to sit and talk by it.
we sat there awkwardly for a couple of minutes before Isaac spoke up. "i like your dress" i looked down and smiled before turning that smile towards him.
"thanks, I wasn't sure if it was too much" he smiled and then scratched the back of his neck. "you know, I never thought id come visit this lake again. I used to love it when I was little." i turned to Isaac and smiled.
"thanks for bringing me back here. it's beautiful" he stared at me making me flush under his gaze, i looked back to the lake to try not get too flushed.
"you're so beautiful" Isaac mumbled, my eyes widened and I looked to Isaac. he was flushed as well.
"I asked you out cause when you love something you become so vibrant when talking about it or doing it and I love looking at you when that happens...I can't take my eyes off of you when it happens" I was full on blushing once Isaac told me that. the wind blew causing my hair to fly all around my face helping me hide my red face.
Isaac reached a hand up and pinned my hair back behind my ear. his hand grazed across my cheek lightly before he moved back slightly. watching his body retreat made my body move on its own as I grabbed his hand and intertwined our hands together.
"thank you. no one has ever said such nice things to me." I leant in and kissed his cheek before I moved back and smiled to see a wide eyed boy blushing at me.

sorry, i haven't posted in months and this is short but i have some sad stuff going on.
last week the cat I introduced to you guys to passed away because my dog attacked her. she fought to live and she tried her best but she was just too small to overcome the pain. i miss her a lot but i can't stay sad forever so here is the last photo i took of her!! it really captured who she was :D. my dopy little baby.
