neighbours, a person your meant to rely on. but my neighbour is my best friend, we've been friends since we were 2. my best friend sean invited me over to skate to our tree.

"hi y/n" seans mum called out as i ran upstairs to his room, i yelled a hi back to hear but didnt stop. i burst through his bedroom door and he jumped in his seat as he clutched his heart.

"whatcha doing" i asked smiling before looking at his computer, i smiled to isaac before speaking.

"i was summoned, forget isaac you have me for the day" i smiled before i turned his computer off and grabbed his hand dragging him towards the door.

"where we going? stupid question the tree right." i flashed a small smile before running downstairs and out the door. i placed my skateboard down and skated in circles waiting for sean.

once sean was out i held my hands up in the air and cheered.

"why are you so lively" he asked as we started skating down the street, we were likely heading to the tree. it's a stupid tree that we claimed will hold our friendship forever cause we met there and have played there ever since.

"cause so this guy asked me out the other day and you know what that means? im classified as hot in our school." i told grape, i looked over to him and his smile kind of faded slightly.

seconds later it looked like he recovered from his thoughts.

"what'd you say to him?" he looked at his feet while he spoke.

"no obviously, everyone at school knows i've had the biggest crush on this guy forever, he had guts i'll give him that" i spoke before i sped up ahead of him before we could talk about it anymore.

"wait y/n" he called out but i didnt listen, when i was close to the tree i saw someone had carved something into the tree.

"sean did you see, someone's hurt the friendship tree" i called out before i jumped off my board and walked up to the marking, i heard seans board stop near by. i squinted my eyes and saw my initial and seans in a love heart.

i opened my mouth and turned around to see sean on one knee with roses in his hands. his eyes were closed as he spoke.

"i know you like this guy since forever but couldnt it be me, i can treat you better, i can be next to you all the time-" i cut him off by kissing him.

"it is you sean, my crush was always on you goof" i smiled before he finished his sentence.

"will you be my girlfriend?" he whispered as we were so close. i nodded as i cupped his face and kissed him quickly again.

"of course"
