Explanations.. Or Nah

Damon's POV

I stared. And stared. And stared. I didn't know what to do. I've been sitting at my desk for over three hours now, trying to figure out what the girls are. They aren't werewolves, I know that. They aren't sprites, or pixies because a sprite and pixie don't have that extra voice in their heads.

What are they? They may be a siren but I highly doubt it. Maybe succubi? So what are they?

"Who are your parents? Where did your family come from? Has anyone ever acted weird in your family?" I ask, getting right to the point.

The girls just look at us with empty expressions before opening my office door and walking out. We continued to sit in my office and looked through books until it was almost eleven at night.

We didn't realize how hungry we were until we stood up.

"Man I would kill for a BLT right now," My beta said, rubbing his stomach as it growled. I nodded my head in agreement and stood.

We walked out of my office and down the stairs. As we entered into the kitchen, we saw a complete mess. There was chocolate and flour everywhere!

We couldn't find the girls in the mess so, walking upstairs.... After following the trail of chocolate, we found the girls in my room on the floor.

They looked peaceful, especially Alex. It's so different from when she's awake. She looks younger, less stressed.

I look over and see Jason staring at Riley and ask "Do they look peaceful to you?" He nods and we turn to go pick up the girls when I stop. Looking at the inside of their arms, I see a little symbol.

"Jase." He pauses and looks at me. I pointed at their arms and he looked before frowning. We turn and go back up stairs to look through my books again, this time looking for symbols.

We finally find one and see that they are extremely rare. We now know what the girls are.

Kadin is an idiot. About a month ago, he decides to run away and hide at his other Ex girlfriend's house because he knew she wouldn't tell the cops where he was. By lunch, I have 2 missed calls from the deputy and 2 voicemails and a text telling me to "call him back as soon as I can" So middle of choir Kadin's grandmother comes to the school and asks if he's here nobody's seen him since Friday. I'm like "That's BS because I was with him most of Saturday." So I call the deputy back and I'm in tears by then.

Everybody's freaking out because I don't cry so this has them freaked. I finish talking with the deputy and 10 minutes later I get a call from his step-father!

Long story short Kadin was found and continues to get his ass handed to him by me for everything. But now I have to get paperwork to sign up for teen Ms. Montana and I have cheer tryouts tomorrow and right after that, I have a choir concert to go to. Plus I'm getting a bunch of makeup work for algebra because I'm falling behind which really sucks...

Rant over, I'm sorry you had to read that... Thank you so much for sticking with my book this long, though! I love you guys so much! Stay safe and dot run away to your ex-girlfriend's house. (Btw, Kadin is my ex... He's dumb, but I love him)
