.:.Althea's POV.:.
"Wait." His voice was sublte, but there. Needy and alive.
Before I could speak, his lips crashed onto mine. His breath hitched a bit and he pulled away, catching air, but he pulled me to him again, our moment becoming more and more passionate. He lifted me so that my legs were wrapped around his waist. My arms were around his neck, my hands tangling into his mess of golden brown hair. His smile grew and became prominent when his lips touched mine.
He stepped back and sat onto his bed so that I was now straddling him. I pushed my hair behind my neck so that it was over my shoulder and out of my face. I gently brought my lips to his again and his hands found their place at my hips.
The door creaked open and an awestruck Carly stood right there, awkwardly.
"Oh my god. I am so sorry, I didn't know Wesley had someone over! I was just gonna say hi. Oh my god..." She rested her hand on her forehead, attempting to look away.
"No, no It's my fault. I should've closed the door. But I was kind of distracted." He giggled, as I pulled him up from the bed.
"Who's you're little friend Wes?" She looked at me inquisitively. A hint of shock as well.
"Carly, This is Althea."
"Nice to meet you." Her smile was slightly seductive and then her eyes went back to Wesley.
Boy was this girl already getting on my nerves.
"Come on babe, let's go to the pool." His hand found mine and then he pulled me after him.
"I'll see you outside Carly." I reached for her hand in a friendly way, attemting to be as nice as I could. I hope she didn't hate me for being with Wes.
We stood by the poolside. Wes was talking to Drew and Keaton just floated away on one of those tube floaties.
Drew went back inside to get some drinks and Carly sat on a lounge chair, just staring out at us.
"Hey Wes, I'll be right back. I'm going to go help Drew bring stuff out."
"Kay Babe." He pulled me into his side and placed a kiss on my cheek before I was on my way.
"Drew, you need a hand, that's alot of stuff." I was about to slide the door open when his foot caught the door.
"Nawh, I got it. Thanks though babe." He winked before he went back to the patio out back.
I walked over to the fridge and got a water bottle and sat down.
"So you're the reason that Wes and I broke up." A voice came from behind. Carly sat in the chair next to me.
"I- I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean."
"Oh, don't take it offensively. I'm just shocked." Her head turned to where Wes was talking to the boys, "His standards have changed since I was with him. I'm surprised he is dating a girl his age now. He tended to go for younger girls. The only one, being me." A smirk played on her lips as she looked at me.
"How old are you excactly." I stated. To me it wasn't even a question.
"Fifteen. You know, the whole time we weren't even officially together. It would have been bad because he is 3 years older. How about you guys? Are you anything official?" Her statements and questions came at me all too fast.
"Well. No."
"I thought so. Yeah, I hope he doesn't play you like he did to me. I fell for him too fast. And then he just left me like that. For you. I hope you're worth it. Well, there's one thing I'm glad for. Even if it may not seem like it. I am glad someone like you makes him happy."
