Chapter 15

.:.Althea's POV.:.
I pulled the crop top over my head, messing my hair up. It didn't matter though, because it was still wet from the shower. I yanked up my favorite pair of shorts and glanced in the mirror. Dang, Keaton had pretty good taste for a guy. Of course he would pick the shirt that had a kitty on it.
I brushed through my hair, fixing it the way I desired. When I was satisfied with my appearance, I open the bathroom door to see Wesley leaned up against the frame.
His eyes scanned me fully, from head to toe. He brought his eyes back up to mine, his smile growing.
"Don't get any ideas." I said as I headed for the hallway. He stopped me in my tracks by pulling me by the waist. His lips pressed against the skin just behind my ear.
"I'll see you later." He whispered, his warm breath sending chills throughout my body.
"Bye Wes." I let go of his hand and made my way to the front of the house.
"Hey Carly!" I said happily as she stood from the couch.
"Hey Thea! You ready? My mom's in the car. She's going to drop us off. " She asked me, her voice filled with excitement.
"Yup! Bye you guys." I waved a goodbye to the boys and got into the car with Carly.
The mall wasn't far from us. Just a few blocks down. The outside was set with palm trees that flowed in the wind.
"I'll pick you ladies up at five." Her mom smiled at us through the window before riding away into the distance.
We walked into the shopping complex and the first store we walked into was Forever21. I looked through racks that contained cardigans. It was my favorite type of sweater and now that it was getting cooler, I needed a couple more. I picked up a mint colored knit cardigan and a maroon hoody.
"You need more dresses. Here take these and try them! Come on!" She nudged me to the fitting room. I really didn't want to slip from my clothes and try on other stuff, but she gave me no choice. The lady working the fitting rooms had already taken my items and set a number to my room.
"My names Kate if you need anything." She said routinely and walked off to help the next customer.
I tried on the first cardigan which looked cute. It was the mint one and I knew I would buy it. I tried the maroon but it wasn't my type. I put it back on the hanger and moved on to the dresses that Carly handed me.
The first was a lilac purple which complimented my skin-tone. It was a tube dress, that cinched at the waist and flowed out the rest of the way down, with the high low effect. I loved it. But I had to see what Carly had to say. I yanked the handle, pulling the door open.
Her mouth was agape, with a smile.
"What about this one, I like this one." I gushed.
"Yes! It's so cute. I want to see the other one too!" She demanded.
I tried the coral colored skater dress which was the second of Carly's choice.
"Eh. I don't like this one." I whined as I opened the door.
"No, the other one is perfect for-" She cut herself off. Why did she do that?
"For?" I asked.
"For, for you! It's perfect for you! The color and everything!"
