Remus's P.O.V

We had no choice but to let her go, her murderous threats were taken seriously and it wasn't worth the violence and danger to forcibly restrain her at the expense of our safety.

Everyone was silent after Anna's departure, the shock of her words had everyone reeling. The Cullens stood there looking around not really knowing what to do, I felt sorry for them, this wasn't what any parents wanted for their child.
One by one people wandered out of the room in stunned silence, not being able to form words.

Had we lost her? Was the sweet and innocent girl we once knew really gone? I was now quite convinced that the innocence was gone, she had all but admitted that she had killed those people.

~~~Anna's P.O.V~~~
I'd be lying if I said the meeting with my family hadn't rattled me. Seeing them again felt so surreal after the months we had been apart. I could hardly bear to look at the expressions on their faces as I spoke, but I couldn't bring myself to feel different or change my opinion. I was right and I knew that soon I may be able to convince them as well. I know that my father is looking for every sort of supernatural creature to aid in his efforts to conquer the wizard in world. Also it would be a good thing to have my family back me up, though I don't know how my father would react to that.
I ran my hands through the soft grass beneath  me as I sat on the hill overlooking the London city lights, the moon overhead shone and cast a silvery glow over the leaves and needles of the pine trees behind me. I have decided to come up here to reflect and think about what has happened. It wasn't until I heard him speak that I knew he was there.
"It's nice up here at night," a voice said behind me. I jumped but resisted the urge to turn around, it would show weakness to face your enemy out of fear. Though I didn't know was actually an enemy, it was safe to guess as much since not many people are my friends.
I still have no idea who the person was and I heard the fallen pine needles crunch under their boots as they approached from behind me. I slid my wand out of my sleeve and was comforted by its smooth wooden texture. I felt naked without it, it was my protection from everything in the world, no one can hurt me while I have it with me.
"You probably don't remember me," The guy spoke again, and sits himself beside me on the ground. By this point I was itching to turn and see who it was, but it was better if he didn't see my face, there was a reward for my head and it wouldn't do good to be caught by bounty hunters, not that they could get me anyway but it would still be best to avoid trouble.
"Do I know you?" I ask, keeping my voice steady and low.
"No, but I know you," he mumbled. My eyebrows crease as I ponder his words. They sounded kind of creepy to me.
After a few minutes, the relentless urge to look overtook me and I turned my head. I audibly gasped as my eyes met his emerald green eyes.
looked down into her gorgeous face. She looked like a fallen angel in the moon's light, her striking eyes sinking deep into my own.
"You!" She gasps and pushes herself off the ground. I follow and grasp her shoulders gently to prevent her from running away, of course, I knew that if she really wanted too, she could get away. But she didn't, she stood there and looked up at me.
"Long time no see." I grinned.
She looked up at me strangely as if trying to gauge my motivation to talk to her.
"Who are you?" She asked again.
"Don't you remember me, princess?" I chuckled at her face cutely scrunched up in confusion.
"Well... I remember seeing you before... Kai? Is that your name?" I would be lying if I said I didn't get a little excited that she had remembered my name.
"Ah princess I knew you'd remember." I smirk at her and continue. "So, I see you've been getting into a bit of trouble lately." I raise my eyebrow.
She shifts uncomfortably and looks away. I catch the sliver of guilt in her eyes, but I'm not foolish enough to think she's changed her mind. The potion was too strong and that bloody necklace wasn't helping either, the amount of darkness being forced into her was dangerously close to making it permanent. She only had a month, maybe less before it would be to late, but it was up to her, she is the only one who can take it off, she is the only one that can bring her back from the darkness.
"I do what I'm told." She states defensively.
I grunt and hook my arm through hers before tugging her gently along in a slow ambling manner through the woods behind the lookout.
"What are you doing?" She snaps and tries to detangle our arms, but I catch her hand before she can.
"Going for a walk? What else?" I explain and continue forward in our little stroll. She huffs like a toddler but shuts up and leaves her arm where it is.
"Why are you here with me?" She asks and I sigh. I knew it was only a matter of time before that question cropped up.
"Why, to enjoy your pleasant and light hearted company," my words drip with sarcasm. I smile at her frustrated expression.
"I'm serious." Anna grumbles and scrunches her face up adorably. I sigh and run my hand through my hair.
"Look, Anna, I know you don't know me, to you, I'm just some random guy that seems to show up every time your at your worst, and I get it. Right now there aren't too many people around that you can trust, but you can trust me. You can also trust your family, they know what's best for you." I try and reason with her, our conversation immediately heading to a more serious direction.
"What are you talking about?" She squints and looks at me suspiciously.
"They sent you didn't they? The Cullens. They sent you to talk to me!" She yanks her arm out of my grip while I start to lose my head a bit.
"What? No! They didn't, I swear!"
Right about now I was probably sounding like a toddler getting his favourite toy taken away but I couldn't find it in myself to care.
"Yeh? And how, in all this damn earth, would I ever trust you?!? You're just some creepy stalker!" She shrieks in disbelief and steps back further. I squeezed my sweaty palms together and frantically searched for a way to stop her.
Then the most impulsive plan formed in my head. It was stupid, but right now I didn't have much choice.
Before she could even protest, I stalked forward right up to her. The confusion in her eyes almost made me laugh but the tensing in her muscles warning me she was prepared to run stops me.
Quickly, but gently I catch her shoulders, and, not giving myself time to think about it, I slammed my lips down on her soft, sweet ones.
