You Forgot me

Lux's pov:

It was dark. Very dark. Was I still in that room with my dad? Oh god was I dead? Wait isn't everything suppose to be white? Oh god I'm in hell!! This can't be happening.

I stopped panicking when I heard a beeping sound like a heart monitor. 

I finally opened my eyes. I was in a hospital room. "oh good your awake" a lady with a clip board said only glancing at me before going back to writing something down on the clip bored.

"I'm going to have to move you in another room." She mumbled. I stayed silent, just looking at my leg that was in a cast and arm that i could barley move. The lady came over to me and lifted something up on the bed so it would move. She rolled me down the halls and around some corners. "I'm sorry but were low on rooms so you'll have to share a kids room with Sasha." She said in a huff. She rolled me into a light blue room with clouds painted on the walls.

"Hello, Sasha how are you?" The lady said as she stopped my bed and looked at the little girl who was about 10 or 11. "Go to hell" the little girl sneered. The lady just chuckled and walked out. 

The little girl had Caramel skin with short brown hair in a bob, she was really shinny and had pretty light brown eyes.

"Hey, my names Lux." I said  

"Hi, I'm Sasha as you heard that monster say." Sasha growled the last part. "Why so mean towards the Nurse?" I asked. Sasha looked sad as she leaned back in her bed and stared up at the ceiling.

"Two years ago I had a bump in my head my mom and dad said I just fell down or something because I always did, but it got bigger. So my mom took me to the hospital. They ran some tests and finally came back with the news, I have a brain tumor. It spread and my mom and dad ran outta money to pay my bills, so that Nurse told them they might as well let me die because she saw no promise in me anyway." Sasha said staring off into space as she told me her story.

"My parents hit the lotto last year. They paid all my bills off and got outta dept." Sasha smiled faintly

I smiled "so everything worked out?"  

"my parents haven't been to see me since, they even had a new kid. They named her Sasha too." 

I was shocked. How could you replace your own daughter. Hell, I knew my mom would replace me in a heart beat if she could.

A Doctor came in his name tag said Dr. Richard. "Hello Ms.Valentine your leg should be ready to come out now." he said tapping the hard cast. I was shocked how could it be time for it to come off Already? "how long have i bee out?" I asked "about a month." He said 

After he took the leg cast off he did my arm too. It felt good to move it slightly. But my ribs haven't healed much yet. And most of the marks on my body have healed except for a scar on my hand that went from the palm of my hand to the back up to the tip of my pinkie finger. 

I was currently sitting in this hospital room starting to get bored outta my mind, Sasha had some tests to do and i was just staring into space, suddenly the door opened. 

And in walked Cam looking like shit. "What the hell happened to you?" I asked. He just let a small smile slip and sat in the chair next to my bed. "how you feeling?" he asked  

"fine"  

"that's good" 

"yup" i said popping the p.

"You get to go home tomorrow" he said. 

"why are you here, do you want something from me." I asked getting tired of the small talk. "I want us to be friends again " he said looking in my eyes. "we never would have stopped if it weren't for you." I yelled caused him look taken back. "look lux the reason I stopped was because-" he was cut off by Sasha being rolled into the room. When she was helped into her bed and the doctor left she turned to me. "hey, lux you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend." She said tilting her head to the side looking at Cam. "He's not, but he was just leaving." I said glaring at Cam. "but lux I-" I cut him off "Goodbye Cameron." I said in a stiff voice. 

He got up and stormed out the door. 

I let out a huff and fell back on the bed roughly, but regretting it when my ribs started to hurt. "How long have you been in love with him." Sasha asked looking at me deep in thought. 

"Baby girl you have it all wrong I'm mot in love with him." I laughed with a fake smile.  

"whatever you say lux but I see it in your eyes."she said turning on the TV watching Sponge-bob.

The next day I was released from the hospital. I promised Sasha I would visit soon. "lux just give him a chance, please." She said talking about Cam. "OK." I said kissing her cheek bye. 

Ms. Jackson picked me up because my mom had to 'work'. When I walked in the house, it smelled strong of alcohol. I started cleaning and putting things away. when I finished cleaning the whole house I put on some pj's and climbed into bed, grateful it was Friday and I didn't have school.

When I woke up I realized I needed a new phone because I broke mine when I was taken, So I snuck into my mom's room witch was empty and got out a few hundreds. I went back into my room and put on some dark blue jean shorts and a green crop top sweatshirt that said 'yeah i like to fuck, I got a fucking problem'. I put on my gold chain and slipped on my black Nike slides, and was out the door. 

I walked into a phone store got the new galaxy S4 and a black bear cases to go with it. When I was done i left the store and walked around.

I was just walking around town when I passed a car dealer ship. I stared at the beautiful 2014 all black Ford Fusion in front of me. I ran my hand over the shiny black paint. "you looking to buy." I jumped at the voice of the greasy fat sales man. "uumm, I'm not sure." I said "well this beauty is on sale for only $300.00." He said. I looked back at the car. "wanna take it for a run?" He asked holding out the keys. I snatched them from his hands gave him my ID and sped off in the car. She rode so smoothly, I decided to test her full speed and went down a old dirt road. My pony tail came out so my hair and was brushing my face as i had the windows down, and boy did it feel good. I went back to dealer slammed the money on the Counter took my ID and rode off in my new baby.
