After I left detention it was time for lunch, the only time I had to reboot with my one and only love; food. I grabbed a turkey sub, fruit-cup, and a Coke. After paying for my lunch, I then sat at the back of the lunchroom at my usual table.
As I was enjoying my meal, I looked up to see Cam walk in with Abby hanging off his arm. Abby seemed to be babbling on and on about pointless drama, but Cam didn't seem to be paying her any attention, He actually looked bored.
Ignoring the clique of their obnoxious friends that talked loudly and took a table that wasn't far from mine, I finished my lunch and decide to get an early start to my next class. And I also just didn't want to be in the same room as Cam. After dumping my lunch tray, I left the lunchroom.
I was rounding a corner when I heard someone yelling "Hey, wait up!" I turned around to see Cam running after me. "Hey sexy, you never told me your name." He said as he stopped in front of me. I glared at him. I wanted to turn around and just ignore him, but instead I said, "Cameron Elli Jackson you are a huge liar. Go to hell." And stormed off.
Sure, that wasn't the best thing to do. But hay, cut me some slack. I'm trying here.
Cam
I watched as the girl walked away from me fuming with anger. I've never been turned down by a girl before, what's her problem? But the really odd thing is that she knew my middle name, no one knew my whole name, except for my mom....
She called me a liar. I have never met this chick how could I have lied to her? This place is full of weird people, nothing like I remembered it to be when I was younger.
Brushing off the encounter with the strange cute girl, I stroll off to my next class of the day. I just walked to my classroom. I entered the class, I let my eyes Rome the room, in search of a empty seat. Imagine my surprise to see the only empty seat was behind the strange girl from earlier. I happily took the seat behind her.
As our teacher dragged on about the history of America, I decided to mess with the girl who refused to tell me her name. I grabbed my pencil from my desk, and began gently poking her back with it, whispering "hey." Over and over agin. But she didn't turn around, or acknowledge my annoying behavior. So I poked harder. Finally I got a reaction."What?" She hissed turning around slowly, with her eye cutting in my direction. I smirked, knowing I got her pissed."Hey." I said waving simply.
I could practically see the steam blowing out of her ears. She was gonna blow. "Listen a**hole, stop fu$%ing with me before i shove that pencil up your-"
"Mrs. Valentine and Mr. Jackson detection, now." The teacher interrupted her. "But-" she tried to defend herself, but he wasn't willing to listen. She sighed dramatically, angrily pushing up from her seat, and marched to go revive the detention. I followed after, not the bit affected by having detention. Back in Miami, my boys and I were always finding ourselves in trouble.
"Wow two in a row, I'm on a roll." she mumbled as we walked the empty halls, heading for the detention room. I mostly followed her lead since I was familiar with the route.
I couldn't help but recall the name, Mr. Richard, had called her, 'Valentine'. Why does that sounded so familiar? Where have I heard that before?
When we walked into Detention the teacher was asleep in the corner, so I followed the girl to the last row in the room. It's Weird I keep calling her 'The girl', I really need to find out her name.
The class was empty. So it was only us and the teacher.
"Hey, care to explain?" I asked with an raised eyebrow. "Explain? Explain what?" She asked crossing her arms over her chest as she kicked her feet up on the desk. "Oh, I don't know how about how you know my full name, or what I so happened to have lied about."
she didn't answer just rolled her eyes. When I realized she had no intention of answering me I gave up. I've never had to chase a girl, and I wasn't about to start now. So I turned I my seat and counted the minutes until I was free to leave.
When the dell rang it was the end of the day. So I grabbed my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. The girl left the room so fast, you would've thought she had on heelys.
As I headed to the student parking lock I pulled my car key from my pocket, unlocking the doors to my Jeep Wrangler. I climbed into the drivers seat, tossing my bag into the back. I started my bday up, and put her in reverse. I wave to some guys I became cool with, and a group of drooling girls as I pulled off of school grounds. As I came to a red light, I saw the girl waiting at a cross walk. I walked down my window, with my usual smirk on my lips. "Hey, want a ride?" I asked. "nope." She said popping the p. I shrugged. "Whatever." I was kinda fed up with her attitude.
If she wanted to be a b!*ch, then so be it.
