You Forgot me

Lux's POV:

How long have I been gone? Was my mom looking for me? Did she care at all? Did Cam know? Does he care? These were the thoughts running through my mind as I hang from the ceiling by my wrists from a cold dirty cellar.

The door opened and in came my so called father. "are you ready to behave today?" He asked sweetly.

"F-fuck y-you." I barley said above a whisper. He sucked his teeth. "I see, well I'll have to fix that, now won't I?" He pulled out a whip and strikes my back. I could feel old wounds opening up as he hit them again.

I was breathing deeply by the time he finished, tears running down my face and a bloody sore body. "Damn, now look at you. Your nothing now, I have no use of you." He said pulling a lever and my body crashed to the ground. I was in so much pain I didn't move, just lay there and let the darkness take over me, dreaming of the only one who I wanted to save me.

Cam's pov:

Two weeks. Two damn weeks that lux has been gone. I haven't slept properly since she didn't come home.

I'm riding around town hoping to see a glance of my Lulu but always came up empty handed. But as I was passing an ally I saw two dudes kicking and hitting someone. I stopped the car and got out. As I walked closer one dude pulled out a gun pointing it at the person on the grown.

"Aye, what y'all doing." I said. And as I spoke the dude with the gun jumped and fired the gun. Before taking off the other way.

I saw a pool of blood flowing down the ally, I rushed to help. When I saw the body I almost cried. It was lux. Her body beaten so bad you could hardly recognize her. When I scooped her in my arms she let out a whimper. "shhh baby, I'm so sorry." I walked as fast as I could without shifting her to much.

I sped off to the hospital. When I rushed in. All eyes were on me. "someone help! HELP HER!" I yelled. Two doctors rushed to me taking lux out of my arms placing her on a bed. I tried walking with her but a nurse held me back. "I'm sorry sir. You can't go back there, please wait in the Waiting room." She snapped.

I paced the waiting room for 30 minutes. "Are you with the girl that just came in?" A doctor asked coming into the room. "yeah, is she OK?" I asked rushing up to him, panic in my voice.

"well she had a couple broken ribs, a twisted leg, couple of cut and bruises, a fractured arm, and a gun shot to the side." He said

"Is there anyone you need here with you son?" He asked placing a hand on my shoulder.

I just walked away and pulled out my phone and called my mom and told her what happened, she said she would get Ms. Smith and be on her way. I sat back down and put my head in my hands.
