"you look beautiful Lux." Ms. Jackson said from behind me as I stood in the mirror in a Cinderella style bride's dress. I looked at her through the mirror. "Really?" I asked. She nodded. "Really." She smiled. "Yeah Lux, you look absolutely gorgeous." Sophie pitched in. "Well then it's settled, I'll take it." I said to the saleswoman of the store. "A fabulous choice ma'am." She said walking away to ring up the $13,000 dress.

"How are you going to pay for the dress?" Sophie asked concerned. "No worries, I will take care of it." Ms. Jackson said. "No Ms. Jackson, I can-" She held up her hand to silence me. "let's just say it's my wedding present to you." She smiled.

My eyes watered up. I hitched up the dress and stepped down from the platform and rushed to hug Ms. Jackson. "Thank you." I whispered in her ear as a tear slid down my cheek. She pulled me away slightly and looked me in my eyes. "There's no need for thank you's, just marry my son and live life dear." She said whipping my tears away. "Ms. Jackson-" She shook her head at me. "Call me Shannon." She corrected me. "Shannon, you've been more of a mother to me than my real mom, I'm so happy you're here with me. I couldn't ask for anyone better to share this moment with." I said. "Haaaaayyyy!" Sophie pouted. "Or you Sophie." I smiled rolling my eyes playfully at her.

After we left the bridal shop I had to get back to the hotel and finish getting ready. The wedding was tomorrow and I still have so much to do.

Once we were back Sophie started on my mani-pedie and Shannon worked on my hair while I talked on the phone making sure everything was prepared.

"WHAT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU RAN OUTTA FLOWERS?? YOU'RE A FUCKING FLORAL SHOP!!" I screamed into the phone standing and pacing the floor up messing up my toes Sophie just finished. "Dear, what's wrong?" Shannon asked me. "The floral shop is out of the flowers I ordered!" I panicked. "Give me that!" Sophie said snatching the phone from my hands.

"Hello, yes this is Sophie James, Edward James wife. The Edward James who owns half of this city. I suggest you do everything possible and get your lazy asses up and get my bride her God Damn flowers by 3:00pm. tomorrow, or so god help me I will make your life a living hell! Do I make myself clear?!?!"

There was silence for a while before Sophie said. "Thank you, have a nice evening." and hung up. "Problem solved." she said smiled putting her hands on her hips proudly. I was lost for words. "T-thank you." I said still in shock. Sophie shook her head as if to say 'No problem'. "Now sit down so I can redo your nails." She said pushing me down in my seat.

Once I was ready and I knew everything was prepared and Shannon and Sophie convinced me not to run to Cam and kiss him goodnight. I was snuggled up in bed, and wide awake.

It's time. I stood behind giant oak doors that lead to the inside of the chapel and my soon to be husband. I was in my wedding dress with my hair in a braided bun and my Vail pulled down over my face while I held onto my pink roses.

When the doors slowly opened my heartbeat sped up, my palms became sweaty and my eyes watered. The music started to play as I made my way down the isle and I locked eyes with Cam. Then it was like it was only us. Cam was a kid again in a oversized suit and his braces shinning as he smiled, I was 8 years old again in a huge dress walking towards my best friend.

When I was in front of Cam I saw his eyes watering and his lips shaking. 'i love you' he mouthed to me. I smiled and mouthed 'i love you too' back. Then the pastor started the service.

"Now the couple here have prepared their own vows, Lux will go first." The pastor said stepping back. I was nervous and shaking. I looked up into Cam's eyes and said what I felt.

"God I love you. you have no idea how much just being here, in this church standing here with you is like a dream come true. And I promise that whatever happens I will be right here, in arms reach to make all your dark days a little brighter." By the time I was done with my little speech I was in tears and Cam gently whipped them away.

"Cameron." The pastor said signaling Cam.

"Oh God, how can I top that?" He laughed nervously. the crowd that was filled with mostly Cam's family and friends laughed.

"Lux you are my everything. you are my smiled, my air, my life you are my world. I can't imagine a second without you in it. Because without you I am nothing. I love how you scrunch up your face when you laugh, or how you hate being tickled, or when you walk your hips sway gracefully. I don't believe in forever, I believe in eternity because 1 lifetime isn't enough with you." Cam finished smiling proudly of his speech. I was crying harder from his words.

"Now do you Lux Valentine take this man to be your lawfully wed husband?"

"I do." I smiled looking into Cam's eyes.

"And do you Cameron Jackson, take this  woman to be your lawfully wed wife?"

"hell yeah, I mean I do!" Can corrected himself making me and the people around us laugh. I think even the pastor cracked a smile.

"I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride." Before the pastor finished Cam pulled be in and locked our lips sealing the deal.

And now our life begins.
