Hannah's pov (lux's mom)

I paced the living room glancing at the clock every now and then, hoping lux would walk in the door, as much as I hated the little brat I still cared if any thing happened to her as much as I hated it. 

I finally got myself to sit down and relax. But soon after there was a knock at the door. Who the hell is up at 11:26pm. I swung the door open to see Karen. "Hey Karen what can I do for you?" I asked. She looked scared to speak. "l-lux is in the hospital." She rushed out. I let out a long breath of air, grabbed my jacket and car keys, and walked out shutting and locking the door behind me. "you coming." I asked her as I was getting in the car."yeah?" She said like it more like it was a question.

When we arrived at the hospital Cameron had his head in his hands. Poor kid, I almost felt bad for him. He always did have a crush on lux, witch was gross considering she was practically a boy herself by the way she dressed. Maybe he was into that kind of stuff.

I filled out some paperwork, but when they said lux could have visitors I told Karen I had work in a few, and if she could catch a ride with Cameron. After she said yes I left and went home opening up a bottle of vodka and crashed on the couch.

Cam's pov: 

Me and my mom walked into lux's room. I saw tubes running from her body to machines. Her arm and leg were in a cast, her head and her sides wrapped up in gauss. I pulled up a chair next to her a held her good hand in mine. My mom placed a hand on my shoulder and squeezed slightly. "she'll pull through, she always ways a tough cookie." She laughed without humor in her voice.

We sat there for a long time just listening to lux's heart beat on the monitor. 

I woke up, not realizing I fell asleep in the waiting chair. I looked at the clock and saw it was 2:2am. "mom, wake up." I said slightly shaking her shoulder. "what?" She asked sitting up in the chair rubbing her eyes and stretching her arms over her head. "I'll drive you home." i said. 

I kissed lux on the forehead. "I'll be back this time i promise." I whispered in her ear. I followed my mom out the door, but lingered I the doorway, wanting to stay by lux's side till she was better.
