When i woke up i had a foot on my cheek. I looked and saw jaden with the blanket wrapped around him with his arms thrown around his head and one foot off the bed and the other pushing into my facce. I quietly as i could i got up without waking him.

I walked into the living room to see cam on the phone. "hey, my moms sending someone to pick us up." He said as he ended the call. I just nodded and walked to the kitchen making me a bowl of cereal. "they should be here in about an hour or so." He continued following me.

I couldn't help but notice how his moods changed so fast. One moment he's about to kill me the other he wants to be around me. Maybe we aren't meant to be friends any more. "I'll go get Jaden ready." I said after i put my bowl away.

I herd a knock at the door. I opened it to see a cab driver. "someone called for a pick up?" He asked in a heavy Indian accident. I nodded "yeah we'll be down in a few." I said. When he walked away i picked up Jaden and walked to cam's door. i didn't bother to knock just walked in. He was laying on his bed just staring into space. He looked at me when i walked closer to the bed. "cabs here." I said then walked out to the cab. Me and Jaden slid into the back. I buckled him in then i did the same.

Soon cam came out and got in the front seat.

It was a silent ride home, the only sound was Jaden's snoring as he fell asleep.

When we pulled up outside our houses i picked up Jaden and walked in my house not saying a word to cam. He had me confused with his mood swings.

When i opened the door it smelt like something died in there. I quickly walked to my room and laid Jaden down.

I then got to work on cleaning up the mess no one but my mother could have made. When i finished i herd the door open then slam shut. I hoped it didn't wake Jaden.

My mom walked up to me in the kitchen and before i could react she back handed me so hard i fell, hitting my face on the counter and then my head on the hard cold tile floor. I knew she was yelling at me but all i herd was ringing in my ear. Soon i felt myself dift off to a nap i didn't want to take.

I felt someone shaking my shoulder softly. And i felt little drops of water on my face. "lux please wake up please." I herd someone whisperer in my ear. I fluttered my eyes opened and saw Jaden on his knees beside me sobbing into my shirt. "Jaden?" I crooked out. He shot his head up and smiled big but more tears kept coming. "thank god your ok." He yelled. I wrapped my arm around his waist and hugged him patting his back. "ssshhh......it's ok. I'm ok." I said.

I carefully stood up but my head started to spin causing me to tightly grip the counter. Jaden held my hand tight as he helped me to my room. I looked at the clock and saw it was 7:15 pm. We laid in bed for a while watching Spongebob until Jaden fell asleep. I gently covered him up and cut the tv off.

My head felt better so i walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. "shit." I mumbled under my breath. My right cheek was swollen and was turning a dark purpleish blue color, witch on black people didn't look to good, and my brow had a small but deep gash that was still bleeding a little and my right eye was also a little swollen.

I cleaned up my wounds and went to bed. I put my phone on the charger and then fell asleep.

I woke up to Jaden's foot in my good cheek and my alarm buzzing in my ear. I moved jaden's foot and pushed the alarm on the floor. I got up and shuffled to the bathroom. I covered my face in markup as best i could and let my curly hair fall around my face then i got dressed and put on sun glasses. Luckily it was hot and sunny so there would be no questions about them.

Now my only my only problem was finding someone to watch Jaden while i go to school. Finally i just call the girl next door and told her i would pay her when i get back. After i told her where the food was i started the walk to school.

I walked up the steps of the building and saw Abby sitting on cam's lap. I can't lie my chest tightened at the sight but i just held my head high and quickly walked by. When i got to my locker i saw a not on one of my books.

'Meet me behind the stadium after school.'

I crumpled the note and threw it over my shoulder. No way was i going to meet cam. I got my books and walked to class. I was the first one in class so I stated reading.

By the time lunch came around i felt like someone was watching my every move. I saw abby twisting way to hard over to the 'popular' table. I saw as she plopped down on to cam's lap and started sucking faces. I couldn't take it. I threw my food away and ran to the back of the school.

I fell to my knee and silently cried. Why is he making me feel this way? "wow your early." Someone said from above me causing me jump to my feet in a fighting stance. But i kinda relaxed when i saw him casually leaning against the stadium. "what do you want."
