I sat in cam's lap feeling myself slipping into a slumber. I let my eyelids close, but as soon as they did the doctor rushes into the waiting room. "are you with-." He stopped and looked at his clip bord. "Jaden foster." He asked. I jumped up from cam's lap and stand on nervous legs. "yes, is he okay? When can he come home? How is he? He must be scared, i have to see my baby!" I said as i started to walk to the closed doors behind him. But he put his arm out stopping me.

"I'm sorry to tell you this Ms. but your son is in bad condition and I'm afraid he's in a coma." He said placing his hand on my shoulder. "what? No.....no. No.no" i shook my head and backed away, but my back hit cam's chest. "Lux's its-" he began but i pushed him aside And ran out the doors of the hospital and i ran the 6 blocks back to my apartment. I rushed in the house and slammed the door close.

I paced the living room fisting my hand in my hair with tears streaming down my face. I picked up the glass vase and threw it at the wall. It shatter in a million peices on the hard wood floor. I picked up a peice but it deeply cut my palm, so i just left it.

I walked to Jaden's room and slowly opened the door. When i walked in a sob rocked thru my body. i saw the teddy bear that Jaden hardly every put down laying in the middle of the bed. I climbed up on the bed and clutched the dear to my chest. "this is all my falt." I whispered so lowly I'm not sure i even herd myself.

*week later*

Cam's pov:

I got in my car and headed to lux's place. I haven't seen or herd from her in a while and i was starting to worry. When i knocked on her door there was no answer. I knocked harder but the door just slowly opened by it's self. I walked in and looked around i saw broken class on the floor with dried blood on it. "lux!?" I called rushing around the house looking in every room. But when i came to the last room i saw lux asleep on the bed holding onto the bear Jaden had as if her life depended on it.

Anyone would tell you she looked like hell with her knotted hair, over sized clothes, tear stained face and depressed atmosphere that surrounded her. But to me she was still the same beautiful girl i loved since i was eight years old.

I sat at the end of the bed. But as it creeked she shot up. "Jade!?!?" She yelled sitting up smiling big with hope in her eyes. "no baby girl it's me" i said stroking her cheek only for her to push it away. "don't touch me." She hissed. "when was the last time you left this room? When was the last time you ate something?" I asked trying to push the hurt away. She Just turned her head and looked out the window.

"yeah, thought so." I muttered. "lux, why? Why are you doing this to yourself?" I asked. "Because i deserve this." She whispered. "No you do-" "Yes, yes i do it's all my fault Camron." She yelled looking me in the eyes using my full name. "if i-" she whipped tears away and sniffled. "if i hadn't took the back way he would be here with me." She said as her voice broke towards the end.

I put my arms around her. She fought me at first but she finally gave into me and cried into my chest. I smoothed her hair and whispered sweet nothings into her ear. A while later she composed herself but was still in my arms. "you should go see him, he needs you." I whispered talking about Jaden. She looked up at me with big eyes, and i couldn't help how cute she looked. "do you think I'm ready?" She asked. I kissed her head. "i know you are." I smiled.
