I stood at the nurses station filling out a chart. My hour left at work was almost up.
"Page Dr. Torres for me please" I smiled at the nurse. She nodded and paged Callie. I went back to filling out my chart, until I felt arms rap around my waist that startled me. I turned around to see Callie. I smiled.
" you scared me half to death." I grinned. She laughed alittle.
"You paged. What can I help you with?" She asked me.
"Oh, Hunt told me I was supposed to go home with you and Sofia after an hour. Amd that hour is almost up." I smiled. Callie looked at me ans smiled.
"Okay. Then I guess your hour is up. Lets go get Sofia and go home." She took my hand as we went to get Sofia from daycare.
We got to the door and Sofia came running.
"Mommy! Momma!" She squealed. She calls Callie Mommy and me Momma. Callie picked her up.
"Hi baby. How was Daycare?" Callie smiled.
"It good, mommy." Sofia smiled and then reached for me.
"Momma" she whinned. Callie handed me her. I kissed her cheek.
"You ready to go home, baby girl?" I smiled at her. She nodded and laid her head on my shoulder.
Callie and I held hands, Sofia rested on my hip and we walk out to the car. Everything was great. I had my family back together again.
