Marinette woke with a start. She had tears streaming down her face and her body was shaking and covered in sweat, Tikki was asking Marinette but all she could hear was a loud ringing. Her dream involved her losing Tikki and watching Chat Noir die in her arms and telling her she had failed. It broke her heart and she put her head in her hands and tried to calm her nerves.
"Oh Marinette, it was just a dream, please don't worry." Tikki said trying to soothe Marinette.
She looked at her kwamis worried face and smiled. She reassured Tikki that she would be alright then went to go get ready for the day.
Adrien woke up with a smile on his face. He couldn't stop thinking about his lady and his princess. He had his suspicions about them being one in the same but today he wouldn't let that bother him. He sat down at his computer and went straight to his classmate Alyas Ladyblog. Plagg sat next to the keyboard and munched on some cheese while Adrien looked at her recent posts. One of them included Chat Noir and Marinette dancing. Adrien grinned at the photo of him looking at Marinette adoringly while she blushed slightly and returned his adoring gaze. He scrolled some more and saw some of Alyas theories and comments that the followers of the blog were leaving. He smiled and but his lip at a post talking about Chat Noir and Ladybugs possible relationship. The post was a couple days old, but Adrien still read it and laughed at the crackpot speculations made by the blogger. His joy with the Ladyblog was cut short by a knock on his door. He went and answered it and saw his fathers assistant Natalie holding, what he could assume, was his schedule.
"Your father has arranged photo shoots for you today, you are to arrive properly dressed and on time." She said before thrusting a piece of paper towards him.
He thanked her and closed the door. He sighed at he looked over the nearly printed schedule. Even on Sunday's, he was still required to be modelling. He wished he could have a day off because every time he thought he did, it turns out he was wrong. Plagg flew and sat on his shoulder and looked at the schedule.
"Wow, he's really got ya booked today." Said Plagg.
Adrien nodded. He sighed as he went to his bathroom to comb his hair and to get changed into his everyday clothes. Luckily today involved causal wear so he didn't have to dress too differently from his regular attire.
Marinette flinched as she poked the bruise on her neck. She was surprised that it lasted this long, after all she got it Friday night and it was already Sunday. She hoped it wouldn't last through Monday cause she didn't like the idea of wearing a turtle neck sweater to school. She sighed as she pulled her baby blue sweater over her head and adjusted the neck so it covered her bruise perfectly. Sadly, Marinette would not be wearing her usual pink pants today due to the fact that it would be a fashion nightmare. She opted for black jeans instead and black runners instead of her usual flats. Tikki slid into Marinettes purse before she said goodbye to her parents and set out for the day. She had squeezed her pencils and a sketchbook into her purse while still saving room for Tikki, today she had plans to go to the park and work on some new designs. She smiled as she found a black bench under the shade of a large tree. She carefully pulled out her materials and got drawing.
Adriens photos hoots would be taking place in the park. Since it was casual wear, the photoshoots would be pretty small so they didn't need to be in a secluded area. Soon, the white limo pulled up to the park and Adrien grabbed his back which held Plagg, and went to a small section of the park where the first photo shoot was taking place. The camera man greeted him and Adrien put his bag down beside a tree and went to go receive instructions from the photographer.
Marinette was so busy with her design that when she looked up and saw a photo shoot taking place across the park, she was a little surprised. She shrugged it off though. She was in the middle of designing a hoodie that was black and had cat ears on the hood. She giggled as she decided to add a little cat whisker design on the back. Of course this hoodie was inspired by none other than Chat Noir and she planned in making it. The hoodie was one you pulled over your head but she opted to not have a drawstring on the hood due to back experiences with them in previous designs. Once she finished that one, she moved to a different page and decided to work on more cat inspired items.
As Adrien was waiting for them to clean the lenses, he spotted someone in a bench across from the park. He saw Marinette buried in her sketchbook and he suppressed a smile when he saw that she had to wear a turtle neck sweater. So his mark on her hadn't quite faded yet. He was snapped back from his thoughts by the click of the camera.
"Antonio! Did you see that! That boy made the perfect face!" Exclaimed the photographer to his assistant whose name was now verified as Antonio.
Antonio nodded and clapped out of respect. Antonio was short with coffee coloured skin and hair that was dyed orange. The photographer look similar except he was tall and had dyed blond hair. He soon went back to staring at his pretty classmate and every time this happened it was always ruined by the click of the camera.
Marinette could hear shouts of joy come from across the park. She glanced up to see what the commotion was about and was surprised to see that the model over there was none other than Adrien and Agreste and he was staring right at her. She bit her lip and he started walking towards her.
