The cameras were still broken after the visit from Ladybug. It was almost midnight now, and Adrien couldn't wait any longer. He transformed into Chat Noir and dove into the night.

It wasn't like Marinette was even asleep in the first place, she'd been having issues sleeping lately so it was no surprise to her that she was awake when Chat Noir knocked on the trapdoor. She let him in and he pulled her into a tight hug. He nuzzled his face in her hair.

"I didn't think I'd be seeing you so so." She said.

"Nor did I. The cameras are still broken so I was able to escape."

Chat pulled away and released his transformation. Plagg flew over to Tikki and left the two teens alone on Marinettes bed. Adrien grabbed Marinettes hands and squeezed them tightly.

"I've missed you," he said.

This time, she hugged him. He didn't notice that he was crying at first, then he felt tears spill across his cheeks. Tears from him mingled with her tears. They wept in each other's arms, they held on tight.

"You should sleep, and I should go." He said.

They both knew that they should.

"No. You're not leaving." She said.

She pouted up at him. He laughed and wiped a tear off her cheek. They fell back on the bed and went under the covers. Wrapping his arms around her, he pulled her close to him.

"I must confess princess, I've been losing sleep lately I've missed you so much." He said.

"You're not the only one. "

He kissed her head. It felt right to be holding her again, it felt like she belonged in his arms. They laid there for a couple minutes, Marinette feel asleep for about five minutes before waking and seeing that Adrien was still awake.

"Can't sleep?" She asked.

Adrien muttered a reply.

"Can I help in any way?" She asked.

"You being in my arms is help enough."

Marinette giggled.

"How about a lullaby?" She suggested.

"A lullaby?"

Adrien remembered something vaguely, his mother holding him and singing him to sleep. And he also remembered finding out she was dead the next day.

"Yeah. A lullaby." He said.

Marinette shimmied up so their faces were next to each other. Adrien closed his eyes as Marinette started to sing softly.
Wipe away your tears,
If not they'll leave marks on your face
Don't frown or else you'll get wrinkles,
And it's best not to smile much either,
Close your eyes and forget the world for once,
It's ok to be upset,
Take your time but don't whine when others comment on you,
Stay in my arms as long as you need to,
Just promise that you won't remain that way.

Adrien fell asleep to the sound of Marinette singing. As he drifted off, he could still hear her words.

Don't make me watch you get sick of me,
When you looked at me like you could stare for eternity,
And when you used to want to be held,
And when you'd cry all the time,

It was thrilling yet calming to hear her sing to him. He could listen to her song forever. Her arms were wrapped around his waist and he curled up slightly. Marinette stroked his lovely blond hair and felt his breath dance across his skin.

Don't laugh as I break down,
Yes I know I told you not to frown,
And not to cry,
I guess lied,
But please don't leave me,
I'm not ready to be alone just yet,
And I do know that you have regrets about me,
But please let me believe you once loved me,
And you still love me
