For once, Marientte wasn't drawing designs in her sketchbook. She sat on a bench in the park, her sketchbook open on her lap. As she worked, she noticed the states of people passing by, it made her realize that even adults knew of the Ladyblog, which was something she really didn't expect. These people all knew her as the girl who kissed Chat Noir. Luckily, she could block it all out easily. Her pencil glided across the paper. She drew a rose clasped in his hands. Weaved in between his fingers. Closed eyes and a peaceful expression. Blood dripping down his chin, she drew Chat Noir. He was laying in a coffin, bloody yet at peace. She drew roses and thorns. Marientte didn't want to design, she wanted to draw him. She also wanted to draw Adrien, but that made her heart ache worse. She gently shaded and blended with her fingertips, causing graphite to stick to her skin and outline the ridges in her hand. She signed her drawing and looked down at it. Not even her could express the perfection in his face and his gentle yet strong features. If only she could feel those features under her hands again, be able to run her hands along his skin and call him her own. She missed the taste of his skin, and the taste of his mouth. She sighed and closed her sketchbook and picked up her purse. She started home and groaned when the sky started to spit out rain, not enough to soak her, but enough that she could feel tiny drops dance across her.
Adrien had always been awful at math. Something about it just didn't click with him, and he was always criticized for it. After all math used the same part of your brain as music did, and he was brilliant at piano. Adrien always blamed his mental struggle with math on his teacher, but even then he managed to always get above 85% on a test. Part of this was what he assumed was favouritism due to who his father was. Adrien gritted his teeth. He had no idea how to solve this equation, he nobody could help him but himself. He wished he was back in school. He missed being able to see his friends and being able to get help when he needed it. Groaning in frustration, Adrien slammed the textbook shut.
"C'mon Adrien, what's so hard about math anyway?" Asked Plagg.
"Everything. Everything about math is hard. Of course, you wouldn't understand that cause you've never had to do it," said Adrien.
He got up and flung himself onto his bed. Adrien no longer had people checking on him every ten minutes, but now the mansion was placed under heavy surveillance using cameras, and Adrien knew it wouldn't look to good if they had Chat Noir coming out of his bedroom window on film. He sat up and looked at the grey sky through his window. Adrien liked the rain. He want sure why, he just liked the smell and the feel of the cool fresh drops on his skin. He wished he could go sit outside until it rained, and sit in the rain until it ended.
Marientte was spinning. Literally. She was so bored that all she did was spin. After all, her life was spinning like mad, so she might as well spin too. Tikki span too. The two laughed as they turned and turned. Marienttes parents were gone so they couldn't hear the two of them giggling. Marinette spun until her mind was completely focused on that, until thoughts of the Ladyblog and thoughts of Adrien were gone. She grinned widely as she came to a stop. She was dizzy and staggered around her room as if she were drunk. Tikki giggled as she struggled to fly normally. Marinette had troubles focus on her eyes on the things around her, she didn't even want to focus. She wanted to just let go of everything and be free to do whatever. She wanted to be free with Adrien. Whether they were Ladybug and Chat Noir or Adrien and Marinette, she wanted to be free with him and only him. Marientte collapsed into her desk chair.
"Oh Tikki, what has my life come to?" She asked.
"What do you think Marientte,"
Tikki didn't say it like a question. More like a demand, but softer. Marientte grinned at her little red friend. She kissed Tikki on her head and turned on her computer. She sighed heavily at her Adrien background and went into her web browser. She went into the Ladyblog and saw Alya had updated. She had been answering questions about how she managed to capture the photo of Marientte kissing the masked hero. Some of the questions were dumb and made Marinette giggle. It was interesting to see so many people talking about something other than Ladybug on the Ladyblog, but then again, Chat Noir was her partner so maybe it should become more normal for people to discuss him. Marinette gazed longingly at the photo. She felt the ghost of his lips graze against her skin. She shivered at the feeling. She could imagine him kissing her, him lifting her shirt off. And her, biting at his lip and running her hands through his hair. And him moaning and she licked his jawbone, and her giggling when he gasped at accidental contact with her bra. And how he would lick her lips and place his hands roughly on her hips. Marinette trembled at the thought of it. At the memory of when they used to do things like that. Of when he was Adrien and how he had kissed her so passionately. And she giggled at the memory of straddling Chat Noir. What made her blush the hardest about that memory is that she hadn't known that Chat was Adrien when she did that. Marinette would straddle him again if given the chance.
"Earth to Marinette!" Said Tikki as she flew in front of Marientte.
Marientte snapped out of her daze and looked back at her kwami. Tikki giggled at Marinette. And Marientte giggled too.
