Chapter 27: Breaking Bounderies

Tikki watched as Marinette slept. She sighed. Tikki smiled at the sleeping girl. She was relived that she want akumatized for too long. She hated seeing Marinette like that. Tikki was surprised that Marinette even had enough negative energy to be akumatized, but she was just glad she was ok.

Adrien hardly slept at all that night. She looked to angry today. He hated having to fight her. He hated having to sneak medical supplies to his room to treat the slice on his arm. It was small and want very deep but it still hurt. It was lucky all his modelling was cancelled for the week due to the damage. It just burned knowing that the damage was cause by him not being able to save his lady fast enough. He wished he could've stayed to hold her longer afterwards but he had to leave.

The next morning, Marinette trudged into school. People stared at her, no doubt because of the fact that she was akumatized. She remembered it happening to all of her classmates who were akumatized and it was about time it happened to her. She fell into her seat and Alya turned to her.

"Hey Marinette, don't be so upset. You looked hella cool yesterday as Lady Chaos! The followers on my Labyblog loved you!" Said Alya.

Marinette laughed. She'd seen the video of her fight with Chat Noir. Not only did it have the fight but it also had their embrace. The most interesting hoary about the fight was how distorted it looked which was part of her attacks.

"Yeah you were quite the show." Said Nino.

"Oh please, she want anything special." Said Chloé as she made her way to her seat.

The three rolled their eyes at Chloé. They all knew it was cause Chloé wanted the attention, which she always did. And she especially did cause after the fight, when Marinette got hoe the school called to say they lifted Marinettes suspension due to the fact that they discovered that Chloé had lied. Which Chloé should really be suspended now but cause of her father, she wasn't. That bothered Marinette but she guessed she would let it slide, after all she was just glad to be back in class.

Adrien was hard at work on his laptop. He was relay behind in science and at this rate, would not finish in time for when he also had to do exams. The program he was using made him do his finals of specific days and he couldn't change it. All of the typing was starting to hurt his fingers and his back was sore from being hunched over. He stood up and stretched and he heard Plagg yawn from his place on the arm of the couch.

"Ugh science is so boring. I much prefer cheese!" Said Plagg.

"You prefer cheese over everything!" Said Adrien.

Adrien shook his head at his kwami. After yesterday, Adrien had spoiled his kwami. It took a lot out of Plagg to support Adrien that night. Adrien used a lot of energy due to the fact that he had to fight alone. Adrien scratched the back of his neck and sat back down. He went back to studies and settled in for a couple more hours of work.
