Chapter 29: Between

        Weeks had been leading up to this.
Marinettes breathing hitched as her pencil touched the paper. The last question on her last final, then it was summer. She filled in the bubble, making sure that she was positive it was the correct answer. Releasing the breath she'd been holding in, she placed her pencil down and turned the test back to its first page and put the scantron card on top of the closed test. Marinette double checked that her name was on both the test and her answers before handing it in. School ended 5 minutes ago but Marinette wanted to make sure she did it all right. In a week she would come back her to pick up her final report card but until then, it was summer. Marinette went to her locker and grabbed the last of her things before leaving the school. It was finally over. Marinette whipped out her phone and saw that she had a couple messages from Alya. All the messages were saying how she thought she totally failed that. Marinette chuckled, if anything Marinette failed that test. Marinette was hopeless at physics.

Adrien was grinning. He knew he aced that test. Today he did his English final. He always excelled at that subject. But then again, it was considered one of the more easier subjects, according to most people. He submitted it quickly then closed the tab and slammed the laptop shut. It was finally summer. Although he knew his summer would be packed with photoshoots, he didn't have school consuming his time. He could finally see Marinette. Adrien grabbed his phone out of his pocket and went to go text Nino. Adrien had a plan, not only did he want to see Marinette, he knew Nino was crushing on Alya so Adrien was going to suggest to Nino that they see a movie and they invite the girls along.

"Sneaky plan Adrien," said Plagg before taking a bite of cheese.

Adrien gave an excited half grin when Nino agreed. Nino said he'd text Alya and Adrien would text Marinette.

Marinette could not get any happier. She'd just arrived at the theatre with Alya and saw Adrien and Nino waiting outside for them.

"Hey!" Said Adrien.

The girls approached the two boys. Marinette stood beside Adrien and he threw an arm around her.

"Oh yeah, we forgot to ask, did you guys ever break up at any point? I mean, I figured you guys would've after that photo of Marinette kissing Chat Noir." Said Alya.

Both Marinette and Adrien got really tense. They both had totally forgotten about that. Alya and Nino raised an eyebrow at them.

"N-no we didn't! But let's not talk about that, I mean after all, we have to go get our tickets!" Said Adrien.

Alya and Nino decided to let it slide, it was a little suspicious but it didn't matter. After all, boyfriend or not, who would pass up kissing Chat Noir? Alya and Nino went to go get snacks while Adrien and Marinette got tickets. Adrien and Marinette weaved their fingers together as they stood in line.

"I missed you princess." He whispered into her ear.

She giggled and bit her lip. She kissed him on the cheek and gave his hand a light squeeze. He squeezed her hand back and smiled down at her. Her eyes seemed to glitter with celestial light as she gazed at him. He had missed her heavenly eyes so much, almost as he missed the sweetness of her mouth and the fire in her touch. And between him and her, they both knew that Chat Noir would be dropping by later. They had a silent agreement between them that he would.

The movie was only ok. The only thing that made watching it worth the time, was being able to put her head on Adriens shoulder, and to have him whisper sweet things in her ear. It was also worth it to see Alya and Nino flirt back and forth. As she waited for Chat Noir to show up, Marinette changed into a white v-neck shirt and pink sweat pants. Her hair was loosed around her head and she padded across  her bedroom floor. She'd gotten home about an hour ago, and her and Alya hung out for about half an hour before she had to leave. Marinette smiled brightly when Chat Noir knocked on the trap door. She gladly let him in. He undid his transformation and Plagg joined Tikki on Marinettes desk. Marinette jumped and wrapped her legs around Adriens waist. He wrapped his arms around her back and laughed as she grinned like an idiot at him.

"Hello princess." He said.

She kissed him fiercely. Her hands wrapped around his neck.

"Hello kitty," she breathe against his mouth.

She kissed him again. His moth was by far her favourite flavour. And God did she miss the taste of it. She missed the heat between them whenever they shared their passionate and desire filled moments and she missed everything about his. She didn't ever want to let him go and he never planned on letting her go again. He carried her to her bed and placed her on her back.

"It feels like forever since we've done something like this," he said against her neck.

She bit back a moan as he bit the skin on her neck. She played with his hair as he left a hickey in the shape of a paw print against her skin. He pulled away and looked back at her. She smirked as she rolled him into his back. Mimicking him, she bit as his neck. He moaned as she moved her mouth against his skin. She sucked on the skin of his collarbone. She sighed as her lips left his skin and kissed him again.

"I think that's enough for now," she said.
