chapter seven

Jessica's POV:
I woke up in one of the best moods ever, last night was awesome but I didn't know if Lauren came home or not.

I hear the front door open.

"Hey, what's up." Lauren yawned.

"Lauren, why didn't you answer your calls last night? I phoned you about 7 times. I was worried sick." I said while crossing my arms.

"I'm sorry, I was out with Michael and my phone died. But I have news, we are all going to a campfire." She jumped with excitement. I knew how long she has been wanting to go camping.

"Oh awesome." I was worried. "Who is going?"

"Why aren't you happy jumping?" She frowned. "And you, Luke, Ash, Cal, Michael and I."

"You know I'm scared of the woods." I groaned.

"It's not exactly the woods Jess" she laughed. "It's like a cabin thingy."

"Ok, when are we going?" I asked.

"We have to leave in 20 minutes to get there, it's a while away so hurry." She told me as she left my house.

It was 11 am so I though I'd call Luke to see what he was up to.

"Hey beautiful." Luke says with a tired voice.

"Hi, you just woke up?" I said.

"Yeah kind of, but also bored." He laughed.

"Are you going to the cabin tonight?" I asked, hoping he was.

"Yes, and you are too." I could tell he was grinning.

"How do you know I want to go?" I sarcastically said.

"Because if you don't, you know I'll make you." I heard a little giggle down the phone.

"Oh is that right." I bit my lip. "I'm getting ready soon, who is driving?"

He coughed. "That would be me."

"Can't wait. I'll see you soon." I said, while hanging up the phone.

11:20 am
I was outside my house with Lauren while we waited for Luke and the rest of the guys to pick us up.

*beep beep*

"GET IN" Calum shouted.

"Oh Calum, that's the first time we've heard you speak." Lauren laughed as we walked over to the car.

I got in the passenger seat while Luke drove. Lauren in the middle of Michael and Calum.

"Where's Ashton?" I said with a confused look on my face.

"We are on our way to get him." Michael says.

"Oh ok good." I smiled.

"Why is that good?" Luke looked at me with a snarl.

"Because it's best if we are all together, right?" I said while turning my head a little to the side.

"Oh yeah." He said while driving out of the gate.

"Why? Are you jealous?" I laughed.

"No." I could see he was blushing.

"Are too." I muttered.

He gave me evil eyes "Are not."

"Are too." I repeated.

"Shut the fuck up and just drive." Michael shouted.

"Michael, take a chill pill." I said, everyone laughed.

As we got to Ashton's house Luke beeped about 5 times so he could hear us.

"Get in loser were going camping." Calum shouted.

Ash ran to the car and got in the door on Michaels side.

"Hey Ash." I turned around to him.

"Hey gurl." He winked.

"Hi or Hey?" Lauren laughed.

Luke turned his head at me and Ash and looked at us in disgust.

"Awkward." Lauren broke the silence.

Ashton's POV:
I was waiting in my house for the guys and girls to pick me up to go on a trip.

As I got in Jess greeted me first and said Hey, but when she said it Luke wasn't happy.

"So where is the cabin?" I asked.

"It's somewhere in Melbourne." Jess replied.

"How far is it?" I was intruded to know.

"Just a couple miles away." She replied again.

"Gosh, Jess do you have to answer everything?" Luke determined.

Jess looked at him with a weird facial expression and turned around to put her headphones in on blast.

I wasn't happy "What's the problem man?" I asked Luke.

"There isn't one." He looked into his mirror to me while replying.

"Don't be rude then bro, she was just making conversation. Like a normal person would do." I looked to see if she was ok but I couldn't see her face.

"Sooo, can we fuck all this awkwardness and turn some music on?" Lauren asked.

"How about you fuck me instead?" Michael winked.

"Shit, Mikey. Now is not the time." She laughed as did everyone else.
