Description: Alex wilson here , I'm 17 and I'm a swimmer it's my passion and my world basically my life i live for it .I am caption of a guys and girls swim team and I have a good family with foster sisters that drive me nuts !! I have 3 best friends Vanessa,brice and jack . and I'm really popular i have like the dream life right ? NO! not even close i mean what happens when your best friend leaves , you have an older brother that is having heart surgery and you find out your little foster sister might have Leukemia ,then you get an offer to a swim college but the hole team is boys who need to respect you ! And then at that school you have problems with the cheerleaders and the football quarterback and on top off all that you are training for the Olympics !!! lets just say life gets wired can i pull through it? I hope so!
My Review: I think writing about swimming is a very weird combination and it is very hard to write a 'good' book with that as your main topic. You don't usually see book that talks all about swimming. To be honest, I don't really like this book because it's not really my kind of book.
I love all the intense details you write about but the story is just not ...catchy and interesting enough. I spotted some grammar and spelling mistakes in the book. To be honest, whenever I spot obvious mistakes, I feel like pulling my hair out, it also keeps me distracted from reading it attentively. Lastly, it also 'repels' me from the book as it gives me negative thoughts about the book immediately and most times, I'll just stop reading and go on to the next book. I'm not saying your writing skills are horrible or something, it's just the bad combination and the not-interesting-plot that repelled me away from this book. Maybe it's just me who's giving the thumbs down, I'm sure people who are interested in swimming will love it but anyway, since you wanted a real review... I had to keep up my promise :/
