I decided it was best not to bother Lynxpaw. I wondered what could possible be wrong with the two, Batstrike was awesome! I saw Honeypaw come running towards me, "Hey Foxpaw! How's it going?"

I smiled and turned around, "Hey Honeypaw, it's going good. Do anything cool this morning?"

Honeypaw nodded, "Yeah me and Cloudleap went looking for herbs with Raindapple. We found a hive, and we recovered some of it."

"Wow really? Did you get stung?" I asked surprised.

She shook her head and flailed her paws in the air, "Not at all, we through rocks at it and Cloudleap led them away. Before they got back me and Raindapple cut it down."

"Wow that's amazing, my mum never let me near a bee nest." I purred.

Honeypaw looked at me, "What was your brother like? Leo was it?"

I nodded, "Yeah its Leo, he was awesome. He helped me escape, if it wasn't for him I would be crow food right now."

"Sounds like a good brother, I was an only kit." Honeypaw sighed.

I tilted my head, "Really? I thought that was uncommon."

"Apparently not, I don't think Lynxpaw has any siblings either." Honeypaw sighed. Someone called her name from across came and she turned her head, "Sorry that's Cloudleap, we're going fishing today, bye!"

I waved my tail to her then just sat down. It had been a real exciting day, it was my first day of training after all. My smile was immediately wiped off of my face when I heard whispering.

"Is that thing still here? I thought it would surely leave by now."

I froze in embarrassment, was I not welcome here? I hung my head but said nothing.

"I wish the foxes had dealt with her when she lived with them, now shes our problem." Another whispered.

I was holding back the tears. I stood up and just walked away. When I was safely behind the Apprentices den the tormenting comments stopped. "I didn't choose to be like this!"

A tear ran down my muzzle and drained through the pine-covered ground. "Should I have just ran somewhere else? I'm a nuisance to them I bet..."

I heard the sounds of crunching pine-needles and my heart stopped. The last thing I needed was for a cat to see me crying.

"Yo kitty, you have fighting practice with me and Silverfox."

My ears pricked at his voice, "Vulpe why did it have to be Lynxpaw!"

"Are you coming? What are you doing back there?" He asked.

I stood up still not meeting his eyes, "N-Nothing yeah I'm coming." I said trying to hold in a sniffle.

He tried to see my face but I just turned in so he couldn't, "Ok then?"  He said seeming unconvinced and padded away.

I took a black paw and wiped the tears out of my eyes. I had to be strong, I had vows as an IceClan apprentice. There was no turning back to my old life. I turned around and padded out into the camp.

Batstrike and Silverfox were already waiting at the entrance. Lynxpaw refused to look up at my mentor and Batstrike was also avoiding to loo at him. "Let's get going." Silverfox purred.

I trailed behind my mentor and saw Silverfox looking back at us, "Lynxpaw has at two extra moons of training then you, I thought you could learn alot from him." She paused and looked at her apprentice, "And with that I expect you to fight fairly and not go full force."
