I woke up with a groan, I could still feel the pain of being brought to life. My vision was blurred and I was very dizzy. I saw a tear drop and a cat standing in front of me growling. "Lynxpaw?"

"F-Foxpaw!? You're alive!" He yelped.

"Yeah you mouse-brain, where is the beast?" I meowed standing up wobbly.

Lynxpaw ran over to me and buried his nose into my fur, "You are in no condition to fight."

Other then the pain of coming back to the real world, my injuries were healed. I turned to my side to show him proof, "I'm fine, I know what I have to do now."

Lynxpaw growled, "I will not go through the pain of losing you again, I thought you were dead!"

"Why do you care? Go worry about a cat who wants it like Honeypaw." I replied coldly and ran back into  the crowed of cats.

Lynxpaw stared at me with sad eyes and hung his head. "I don't need them anyways."

I looked around but didn't see my mentor, "Please be OK Batstrike, I'm sorry for disobeying you.." I whispered.

I scanned the forest, "I have to think like a fox.... What would a fox do?"

I closed my eyes trying to remember anything that would help me. Old stories Virgo told us when we were kits. "Think Foxpaw think!"

My head snapped up, "That's it!" I smirked, my worst memory was about to become my savior. I ran into the crowd, the bear was bleeding fro the eye that I took out. He swiped away another group of cats trying to pounce on him.

"Hey Mange pelt! Remember me!? I'm the one that took your eye!" I yowled.

It's ugly head turned and faced me. It let out a roar and charged at me, "That's right, follow me."

I had to go full speed and I was still too slow, this thing was fast. He was right on my tail, I could feel the nervous gazes of cats as I led the bear west. I felt it try to claw me but I darted out of its reach just in time. If it couldn't trap me it couldn't claw me, biting was a whole different story. I was past my camp and I was starting to tire, "Come on Foxpaw you have to do this! All of the clans are depending on me! This is the thing that hurt Bonepaw, my clan, and possibly Lilypatch."

I pelted onward, I wasn't just running for my own life anymore. "A few more steps a few more steps." I kept telling myself. Even if I die it wont matter, I was a loner they had pity on my only friend my age was from FireClan! "I hope Lynxpaw and the traitor are happy together."

It was just in view, the blackpath, "I made it, please work."

The bear let our a roar, its brown shoulders shook with great force as it sprinted after me. I bolted out into the Thunderpath and sighed in relief when I saw a black monster roaring towards us. "I've served my purpose."

I stopped dead in the middle, the bear came charging at me. I laid down and heard a loud smack. I closed my eyes, too exhausted to do anything else. I had used up all of my energy, I couldn't move whatsoever.

"Are you proud of me Virgo? Thank you for everything mother."

I remembered how Scorpion and Cancer ducked to avoid it, I did the same. I panted and turned my head, the bear was lying on its side in a pool of blood. "You got what you deserved."

I heard a clicking noise and saw two legs stick out of the monster. It investigated the area then got back into the monster. I heard a large growl then the monster got off of me and drove around the bear.
