*One month and a half later*

"Foxspirit! Honeydew! Foxspirit! Honeydew!" Everyone cheered.

I smiled and jumped off of the rock, I was greeted by Batstrike and Lynxtail. Rivershimmer's two kits, Windkit and Emberkit were running around my paws. Windkit was a silver tom with black wisps while his sister was a silver and ginger tabby.

"I want to be a warrior like you when I grow up!" Windkit squealed.

I laughed and petted his head with my paws, "I'm sure you'll be a big strong warrior like your father."

Silverfox was plump with kits, she waved a tail at me from the nursery. They would be due any sunrise now.

"Follow me you two, I want to tell you something." Batstrike meowed.

We managed to escape the crowed of cats then we ran outside. We laughed as Batstrike led us to the clearing.

"Ok I have something very important to tell you," He paused looking at Lynxtail, "It's about your mother."

"Do you know what happened to her?" Lynxtail meowed looking around.

Batstrike nodded his head, "Foxpaw- I mean Foxspirit, do you remember the day you saw us out hear arguing?"

"Yes..? What about it?" I replied.

"Lynxtail I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to go looking for her. She is safe, she said she couldn't live here anymore knowing she killed a cat and might kill more. She left the territory, the clans, you, she wanted me to tell you she loves you." Batstrike said.

Lynxtail stared at him with wide eyes, "Warriors die all the time, its apart of the vows we take! We didn't you try to stop her?"

"I did, the night Foxspirit found us she was going to leave. She wasn't in her den when I went to give her the thyme and she was leaving. I begged her to stay but she said she was leaving and her mind was set. I made her stay over night because I didn't want her to get attacked in the dark. When we went hunting that one day she escaped. I just wanted to clear my name, I did not murder my mate."

Lynxtail was silent, "She deserted IceClan?..."

"She couldn't watch another cat die, she has a big heart." Batstrike sighed.

"Take care of my son." It all made sense now. "I knew you wouldn't hurt her." I meowed.

"Thanks for your loyalty, I knew it was suspicious sense she disappeared after our argument." He responded.

"I forgive you for not telling me, I'm sorry I got mad at you when I was little. I thought you were trying to abandon me and Lilypatch."

"No don't be my son. It was my fault I should have handled that better, avoiding you wasn't the answer."

The toms butted heads. I swished my tail and smiled, "Well at least that was solved, who else is excited for Silverfox's kits?"

"I am, I can't wait to see how they look." Lynxtail meowed.

"Silverfox will have cute kits, I hope I get to mentor one to keep the chain going." Batstrike huffed.

"Hey wouldn't it be me mentoring one? You mentored her, she mentored me, then I mentored her daughter, only makes sense." Lynxtail defended.

"I would trust a rapid squirrel to mentor her kits more then you." I teased.

"Oh it is on." Lynxtail purred tackling me.

"Did you two want some privacy?" Batstrike laughed.

I flattened my ears and blushed. After kicking my friend off I stood up, "I am not having kits yet! I just became a warrior."
