I froze, "Your father is Leo? That is my brother!" I purred.

She tried to look back at me but my grip on her scruff was to strong, "Really? Does that make you my auntie? Da comes to visit me and my siblings alot and he told us stories about you. He said I was named after you because I'm the runt of my litter."

I set er down and licked her head, "Us runts have to stick together. I'm so happy for my brother I can't believe I have nieces and possibly nephews!"

"You have two nephews, my big brothers Sharpe and Lion." She barked.

I piked up her scruff again and continued walking towards the Thunderpath, "So how did you get here in the first place?"

Airies looked down and sniffled, "I wanted to prove to my mum and brothers that I could be strong like them. Everyone is afraid of this place so I thought if I came here... they would be proud of me."

"You are definitely my brothers kit. I'll let you in on a little secret sweetie. You see us runts are always overlooked by the bigger animals. But eventually you will get your chance to shine, and safety prove yourself."

"I understand! I won't do it again but I'm glad I got to meet you. What's it like being a cat auntie?" She asked.

"I don't know, warrior life is different from fox life though. We cats have more rules to follow." I sighed.

We were traveling west and she looked south, "What are those big rocks?"

My ears pricked and I looked over, "Those are the leaping spikes, we use them to train cats to jump farther."

"Oh, can you come visit me when we get back? I'm lonely and my brothers always just play with each other." She whimpered.

"We will have to see, maybe I can sometime if your mum says it's ok. Airies is your mother pure white?"

"Mhm, she's an arctic fox. She said she came down here from the far north and fell in love with my da." The kit yipped.

I looked both ways on the ThunderPath, "Don't come in here unless your mother tells you to, a warrior could attack you. And always look both ways before-"

"I know I know mum lectures us all the time on this." Airies huffed.

I looked both ways then put one paw on the hot black path. Something rammed into my side, it took all of my breath away. My jaw grip loosened and Airies went flying out of my mouth, "Auntiie!" She wailed.

My eyes widened and I looked around in concern, "Airies! Where did you go!?"

"Looking for something?" I familiar growled came from the bushes. She too a step forward, her golden paw glowing in the sunlight, "Honeydew! What in the name of StarClan are you doing?"

"I overheard your little conversation, this is your kin correct? You stole Lynxtail's affection from me I'm going to steal something you care about away from you." She chuckled with the kit in her mouth.

"You're insane! Leave her alone or I will kill you!" I yowled then charge at her.

Honeydew turned tail and started pelting for the leaping spikes. "Now you will know how it feels to have love ripped from your heart!"

"I already knows what it feels like you traitor! You knew how I felt about Lynxpaw yet you still went after him. You are a complete idiot, the fox skulk will kill you for this and I will be right beside them!"

"Exactly!! Then I will prove my point of you leading them here! You will be exiled and Lynxtail will be mine!" She laughed and ran faster towards the spikes.
