Erika's Pov.
I hate it here. I just want to go home to my mom and dad. None of this would have happened if Rose listened to me and went inside when I heard the noise in the woods. No, I didn't just hear a noise. I saw someone. At least...I think. I don't know I saw something. I don't want to ignore Rose even though I'm mad at her because she's all I have.
Roderick hasn't come back into the room for a few hours now. Maybe it's been more then a few hours. I can't really tell time. Everything's black, I can't even see Rose who's only like a foot ahead of me. I'm scared out of my mind.
Rose's Pov.
I know Erica's scared but I'm going to get her out of here. Once I change into a vampire we can get out easily. I'm just worried what he could do to us. Hopefully mom doesn't come after us, I'm pretty sure I convinced dad but moms hard to convince. Thoughts of where my mom is started to creep up in my mind. What if Roderick took her too? What if he figured out a way to hurt her. This is all my fault.
