twenty: the storyteller [EPILOGUE]

for those people last chapter who asked if i would write a lashton version of sleeping beauty hell yeah i'm going to do it and the 'before you read' part is up (also, I turned this into a series)

''The next years were amazing for the couple. Their life at the castle was amazing and everyone was happy. Eventually the day of their wedding came and both of them were nervous, but it all went away when they looked at each other at the altar. On that moment, they realised their love was so strong no one could break it, they were soulmates.

"At the party everyone was dancing happily. Mrs.Wilson, Calum, Michael, Ben... everyone was there. Michael eventually admited his feelings for Calum and they started dating. McKenzie apologized for being on Madison's side and they understood, some people do get mad when they're in love. Unfortunately, her feelings for Jade weren't corresponded but she got over it. Madison went to the asylum and never came back.

"A few years later Luke and Ashton adopted two children: Maya and Brian. They lived happily ever after."

Luke let out a breath and closed the yellow and brown book. It was quite a ride while reading that actually, it's his favourite tale. He looked at the children who seemed tired, other excited and the other curious. There was a couple of thirteen year old twins in the group, even though the activity was for kids from 4 to 10 years old Adam and Bree could be an exception. Ashton, his boyfriend, winked at him from the back of the room and Luke smiled timidly at the tattooed boy.

He has been doing this for a while. On Saturdays he goes to the local library to read tales to children, but Luke turned them into LGBT+ story since the activity was based in that - introducing the LGBT+ community to children. He thought it was a good idea, it would help the kids understand that a boy dating a boy or a girl dating a girl was just fine. Ashton usually brought his little cousin who was seven years old so he could accept his cousin dating a boy when he realises what really is going on (even though they have been dating for five years a half).

A little girl named Ariella - who was five years old - put her hand up to talk and Luke nodded at her. She had two dads who were glad to find the thing at the library.

''Did Mikey and Cal got married too?'' she asked, putting her head down in shame.

''They did Ari, their little girl had your name.'' Luke said, looking at her and smiling when seeing her face lit up.

''Really?''

Luke nodded and hummed. Other kids made some questions like if they had a dog or some other pet (it was kinda weird, they all had some obsession with chicken). The children got up excitedly after Luke told them there were snacks for them on the auditorium and left the room, leaving Luke and Ashton alone. Luke got up and went to put the book on the shelf, looking at the one he would read on the next sessions. Arms wrapped around his waist and Ashton's cold lips left sweet kisses on his neck. Luke giggled and turned around, wrapping his arms around Ashton's neck.

''Hi.''

''Hello baby.'' Ashton said, leaning in to kiss Luke. Ashton's lip ring was cold against Luke's lips but he enjoyed it a lot. The tattooed boy stopped the kiss and pecked Luke's nose, resting his head against Luke's ''I'm sorry Phil isn't here today, he's in a birthday party but I promise he will be here next time.''
