Chapter 2 (Battle and Bella?)

Vanessa's pov
Today was the day we attack! Whoop! No not whoop! I'm not ready! Riley talked about how and when we attack. I didn't listen because I wants going to hurt anyone, maybe I would hurt him...you never know. "Vanessa your staying here. I will be back." My mom said kissing my head. She took off her locket that my dad gave her and put it around my neck. "I'll always be with you no matter what..I love you nessa." She said hugging me again. "I-I love you too." I said hugging her tightly. She pulled away and brushing some baby hairs out of my face. "My baby girl." She said giving me a sad smile. "Victoria we have to go now." Riley said she hugged me one last time than left. I sat there and waited. After like a good 40 minutes I had to go and see, see if everything was okay. Which it probably wasn't. I ran following my mothers scent, I climbed a mountain it was snowing up here and when I got to the top I smelled blood and my mothers scent. I followed it, as the scent got stronger I saw my mother and Riley. Along with Bella who had blood dripping from her arm trying to distract my mom and Riley which she did. Her blood caught the attention of All three of them. "Riley get the girl!" My mom growled as she started to pull Edwards head off. I had to act fast, I flashed in front of Bella before Riley could. I kicked him in his stomach as he came to a stop. He flew into a tree "Vanessa! What are you doing?!" My mom yelled "I'm not letting him hurt her! Just because you! Want to get revenge for dad being dead!" I yelled as I fought Riley, he got me in a head lock but I flipped him over and stepped on his neck. I saw a wolf, I grabbed Riley by his shirt and threw him at the wolf. "Bye bye asshole!" I yelled as the wolf bit and clawed at his body. I saw a vampire behind Bella, I run over to her using vampire speed and pushed her lightly out of the way but enough so she wasn't in the way. I grabbed the vampires head and twisted it until I came off. I pulled out my lighter and lit them on fire. "Vanessa!" I heard my mom yell I looked and regretted it.

I watched as Edward pulled on my mothers head than bit into her neck, I watched as her head fell from her body. I watched as Edward pulled out a lighter and light her on fire. I looked at Edward, who looked at me. "I'm sorry-" he said but I stopped her "You did it to protect the one you love, I would do the same." I said "Thank you for protecting Bella." He said I looked at Bella and saw her holding her arm. I ripped my shirt and went over to her, wrapping her arm. "Your welcome." I said she smiled awkwardly. Edward came over and kissed her tenderly, if only I had someone like that. I've done my job here, time to move on and mourn I guess. I turned and started walking away "Vanessa wait." Bella said "You have to come back with us, at least down the mountain." Edward said I sigh "Um..sure." I said turning back toward them. I pulled up my hood on my coat that blocked my eyes. We went down the mountain, it was warmer and dry down here. There was bodies surprisingly nowhere to be found, I saw the rest of Edwards coven. "Who's this?" The buff guy growled "Vanessa's she's good, she protected Bella." Edward said. I kept my head low "I don't trust her." He said "Emmett shut up..I've seen it. She's fine." The pixie one said. "The Volturi are coming." The pair added as she looked off into the distance. "How long?" Edward asked coming closer. "About 10 minutes." She said I looked and saw wolves.

I saw a vampire come out of no where and attack a silver wolf "Leah don't!" Edward yelled running over but than another wolf came and got the vampire off of her. The vampire tightened his grip on the wolf as he struggled to get away, he whined as his boned where crushed. I growl and run at the vampire, I tackled him into the ground. "You! Should of been dead!" I yelled as I pulled off his head. "Jacob!" I heard Bella yell I grabbed the boy's body and dragged it over to the fire and threw him in. I saw a bunch of fit boys run over and lift him up and carry him away. My head snapped toward the forest as the Volturi showed up, or so I thought. It was Jane, Felix, and Alec and one other dude.

I stood behind them they exchanged a few words than have said "You missed one..oh no two." She said I saw Bree she looked so scared. My hood was still up I kept my head low. "Why have you come?" She asked Bree, bree screamed in agony as Jane used her powers on her. "Who created you?!" She asked Bree screamed again I cringed lightly. I can't take this! I quickly step through the Cullen's. "She came to kill the Cullen's! She was created by Riley! So she could fight in my mothers army!" I yelled at her, her eyes flickered over to me. "And who may you be?" She said "I am Vanessa the daughter Victoria and James." I said "Reveal yourself young one." She said I pulled my hood down and looked up at her. She seemed confused and taken back but didn't show it. "Aro said destroy them..but she's different. Felix destroy the other one and you will stay with the Cullen's until our master decides to do with you." Jane said Felix walked over to Bree and picked her up. She started screaming i looked away as he threw her body parts into the fire. "It was nice seeing you Cullen's, until next time." She said than they were gone. I put my hood up and started walking away from the Cullen's. "Vanessa where are you going?" I heard Bella ask I stop and turn around. "I've done enough trouble in one day I should get going." I said starting to walk again. "But the Volturi said you must stay with us until aro decides to do with you and that shall be that your staying." I heard a male say I turn around again. The leader must be the blonde one. He seems nice, he smiled kindly. "I-I- okay." I say giving up the reason to not stay. I won't be welcomed anyway it's only for a few days right? What's the worst that could happen?
