Chapter 10 (Baby sitting)

Vanessa's pov
I cleaned up the living room while Aiden baby proofed everything. "They are coming in 15 minutes." Aiden said I threw everything into a closet. "Is everyone gone?" I asked grabbed some baby toys, I bought. Along with a crib, I everything up just as the bell rang. I ran and got it "Hey Vanessa, Are you ready for baby Hailey?" Her mother Margaret said I nodded "Hun bring Hailey." She said her husband bring up baby Hailey. I took her in my arms she was 2, so cute. "Hi Hailey!" I said she giggled and waved. "Here's her diaper bag, it has everything she needs inside, we have to go now bye bye!" Margaret said than left with her husband. Okay time to baby sit, I closed the door locking it. I went over and sat Hailey on the floor in front of the tv on a blanket. I turned on some baby cartoons that she likes to watch. "Hey babe?" Aiden asked I looked over at him. "Yeah?" I said "How long are we baby sitting her?" He asked "for a few hours." I said he nodded and laid next to her on the floor. I watched as she played with Aiden, it was cute. I waited tv it was actually pretty interesting to watch. After a while Hailey got fuss, I stood up and went over to her diaper bag. I grabbed a diaper and a bottle. "Do you want to change her or warm the bottles?" I asked kneeling next to Aiden. He grabbed the bottle and went into the kitchen. "Let's change you, wanna get your diaper changed? Huh huh yes you do!" I said tickling her belly, she giggled and babbled. I used my vampire speed and changed her, she laughed as I moved fast. I smiled when I was done. I played with her while, Aiden never came back. I got worried, I grabbed Hailey and walked into the kitchen. I see Aiden looking at the bottle, it was sitting in a bowl of ice. "What did you do?" I asked he looked up at me and scratched the back of his neck. "Uh I kind of heated it to much." He said I sigh I handed Aiden the baby, than I went and grabbed a new bottle. I went into the kitchen and see Aiden playing with Hailey on the counter. I heated up the bottle for like 10 seconds, than took it out. I gave it to Hailey, who drink it hungrily. I had Aiden burp her while I set up the crib for her nap. I heard a knock on the door, it smelled like Bella. I went and got the door, I opened and saw Bella. "Is Edward here?" She said "Nope, Everyone's gone except me Aiden and Hailey." I said letting her come in. "Oh okay, do you know when they might get back?" She asked "I don't really know." I said closing the door. Bella sat on the couch while Hailey was in her crib sleeping. Aiden welp I don't know where he went. "Hey could you fix my necklace for me, it's like tangled up." Bella said moving her hair out of the way. "Yeah I got you." I said I leaned in toward her trying to fix her necklace, I was lost on how it got tangled. "So how-" I was cut off by Edward yelling than me being slammed against the wall. I looked and saw Edward, he pressed his hand to my throat. "What do you think your doing?" He asked lowly. "I'm not doing anything I was helping her with her necklace." I said trying to get out of his grip. Bella grabbed a vase and threw it at Edwards head, it smashed when it made contact. The pieces it the floor, and some flew toward Baby Hailey, I pushed Edward off me. I used super speed and grabbed baby Hailey before they could hit her. "Edward she was just helping me with my necklace see its tangled she was helping me, not trying to drink my blood. Think before you act next time." She said showing him her still tangled necklace. "And you would have to explain to Hailey's parents why she would of been in the hospital." I said Aiden walked downstairs in new clothes. "I gotta go." He said I took the pieces of glass out Hailey's crib. I than laid her back down, I walked Aiden outside. "Where are you going?" I asked "I just gotta go okay?" He said walking down the stairs. "Uh..okay hope your not cheating on me." I said he stopped walking and looked back at me. "Yeah I'm cheating on you." He said my heart dropped, even though it wasn't beating. "W-what?" I asked I heard baby Hailey crying. "I gotta go too." I said sadly "Babe I was just joking...Vanessa...Vanessa come on I was joking." He yelled after me. I went inside to see Emmett? Holding baby Hailey upside down by her head. Bella like screamed when she noticed. "EMMETT WHAT THE HELL! You could kill her!" She yelled taking the baby from his hands. "What? That's not how you hold it?" He asked laughing, I walked over and put my hand on my hip. "Emmett." Was all I need to say for him to look at me scared. Before I said anything else he was already gone, I laughed. "Edward go join in, no one is suppose to be here except Bella or Aiden and your not one of them so bye!" I said waving to him as he left the house through the window. Finally quiet.
