Chapter 14 (Sickness)

Vanessa's pov
I felt a weird feeling in my stomach, I shot up and ran toward the bathroom. I went over to the toilet, lifting the lids and throwing up? I sat there for a good 30 minutes throwing up..noting but blood? "Vanessa?" I heard Aiden's voice call from the door way. I flushed the toilet but I threw up again. "I gotta call Carlisle." Aiden said "No I'm fine." I said flushing the toilet. I weakly stood up and walked over to the sink, I fell but I caught myself on the sink and Aiden was at my side holding me up. "Your not fine." He said I brushed my teeth, spitting out the toothpaste. I set the toothbrush back in the holder. "I feel better now." I said looking up at Aiden. "I'm still calling Carlisle this isn't normal." He said than he left to get his phone. I stood in front of the mirror and lifted up my shirt, looking at my stomach. I'm not pregnant I thought..I can't be can I? "Vanessa..Carlisle wants to talk to you." Aiden said handing me the phone. I put it to me ear and walking after to the window looking out. "Hello?" I said "Hello Vanessa it's nice hearing your voice again." He said I smiled softly. "Yeah you too." I replied crossing my arms. "So Aiden is concerned about you no?" He asked "He is.." I said looking at Aiden he was already packing our things. "Have you both had sexual intercourse recently? And when?" He asked I screamed "What?" Carlisle asked "That sounds weird coming from you." I said he chuckled. "Yes and yesterday." I said closing my eyes tightly. "Well seems to be that you may be pregnant." He said I froze. "......" I tried to say something but nothing came out. "How?" I said "Just come home and I'll explain." He said "Okay bye." I said hanging up. I brought a small bucket with me, just in case I might throw up. Aiden didn't talk to me all car ride. "Can you talk to me please?" I asked looking over at him. "There's nothing to talk about." He said coldly. "What? Yes there is." I said he didn't say anything. I was getting pissed off, highly pissed out. I didn't talk to him the whole ride home. Once he pulled up into the driveway and he turned off the car. I got out slamming the door and walked up the stairs to the front door. I went inside slamming the door, I saw everyone in the living room. "Your back!" Esme said I smiled to her than jumped into the empty couch and started crying. Everyone looked at me, I was full on sobbing. "What's wrong?" Edward asked I cried louder. He cringed " Nessa what's wrong?" Emmett asked I looked at him. "I'm pissed off. And I can't break anything so I'm crying." I said "Carlisle is on his way soon sweetheart." Esme said getting everyone out the room. She came and sat next to me. She pulled me into her side, rubbing my back. "It's okay.." She cooed I calmed down. I felt something coming up, oh no. I pulled the bucket I still had in my hand, to my face and threw up. "Let it out.." Esme said I threw up more. I don't understand I eventually stopped, Carlisle came in. "Oh my." He said when he saw me, leaning over into the bucket. "Come with me." He said Esme took the bucket and went to go clean it out. I stood up and walked over to him. He gave me some support has we walked, he brought me to this room. It was like a mini hospital it was so cute! I smiled at my childish self. He laid me in the cold metal table "Okay so we well I am going to do a sonogram." He said I nodded. "Do you want me to get Aiden?" Carlisle asked. I nodded he left, I closed my eyes and waited. I heard footsteps than I smelled Aiden. I felt him grab my hand, I relaxed. "This may be cold." He said he lifted up my shirt a little and before I could react. I felt something gooey on my stomach, I squealed it felt weird. Carlisle moved the little thing around on my stomach and before I knew it. I heard a heart beat..woah that's inside of me. How is this possible? "Well your carry a baby. I can try my best to explain it." Carlisle said He started explaining it..I sat there mind blown. "We don't know if the baby will come out human, vampire, half human- half vampire. We will have to wait to see..the baby is actually growing unnaturally fast. Normally this early in a human pregnancy I wouldn't be able to find a heart beat through the sonogram." He explained. "So do I eat human food or drink blood now?" I asked "Try human food." Carlisle said writing some stuff down. "I wanna talk a few test to keep track of this all." He said I agreed he took my weight, size on my stomach, how much I was eating which was nothing as of now. I changed into some sweats and socks. Alice came over to me and sat down..she took my hand in hers thab she smiled widely. "I'll be right back!" She said than ran away into the kitchen. Aiden came in with some pillows, and blankets.  "Vanessa can you get my phone out of my pocket?" He asked I nodded reaching into his pocket, I felt something square thinking it was his phone. I pulled it out and saw a tiny box. He kneeled down in front of me, he opened it. "It's a promise ring. I was suppose to ask you at the island this happened. I promise to love you with all my heart and give you all of me the best and the worst. I promise to hold you when you cry and kiss you when you laugh. I promise to be there for you always." He said aww if I could cry I would. I hugged him tightly "That was beautiful." I said he pulled away smiling. "Yeah I try." He said slipping it on my finger. I grabbed his face and kissed him. "PDA!" I heard someone yell. I pulled away and saw Bella, Edward at her side. I smiled "So I heard you carrying a baby!" Bella said running over pushing Aiden out of the way and sitting next to me. "Yeah..I don't know how but it's happening." I said smiling. "It's going to be the cutest baby ever!" She said I laughed. Alice came back with snacks and bags of blood. "Try to eat this stuff." Alice said "Okay." I said talking the rice crispy treat from her. "Everyone! Come here!" Alice yelled I heard footsteps and everyone came into the living room and sat down. "She's about to eat her first human food in years!" Alice said squealing and clapping. I opened it and took a bite. Oh my god! It was so good! I looked up at everyone "It's good, really good!" I said taking another bite. "Yay! She likes it!" Alice cheered I ate the rest of the food Alice got me and left the blood.
