Chapter 8 (The dream)

Vanessa's pov
"Vanessa..time to get up." Aiden said shaking me. I sat up slowly, you could see the tiredness in my eyes. I smiled softly at Aiden as he pulled me up out of the chair. "I have the bath water running for you." He said as he helped me up the stairs of our small cottage. We made our way into the bathroom, I smiled as I saw bubbles on the tub. I sat on the edge of the tub as Aiden, helped me out of my clothes. I lowered myself into the tub, relaxing as the water surrounded my body. "How are you feeling?" Aiden asked taking my hand rubbing his thumb over my knuckles lightly. "Fine..my back hurts a little." I said looking around the bathroom.

"I wonder how it is? I hope it's okay." Aiden said looked down at my huge belly.

"Me too..the Volturi are coming soon. Alice said in the next couple days..how do you think they will react? Our baby is probably just going to be like Renessme...but the Volturi will think our baby is probably a threat and abomination to all kind. We don't know how they will react!" I said starting to freak out. "Shh it's okay no matter what they think or do I will protect you and this baby..I promise." He said kissing my head. I just couldn't push the thought of the Volturi coming for my family and my baby. I will do anything to protect my baby, anything. All I could do was hope for the best.

Vanessa's pov
I grabbed Aiden's hand and stood closer to as the Volturi showed up. "Look what we have here." Aro said scanning us all. "Ah young Bella...immortality has become you." He said I looked at Bella she was Perfect as a vampire. Aro looked at me " Vanessa, you carry a monster." Aro said looking at my stomach. "It's a baby!" I hissed "But how is this possible?" He asked "I can show you." I said holding my hand out for him. "Come come." He said I looked across the field at Emmett, who looked at me. Aiden walked me across the field, holding my hand tightly. I grabbed Emmett's arm tightly, he looked down at me. "It's okay sis, you got mocho man here." He said flexing his muscles. I smiled and laughed slightly. We got to Aro, I slowly let go of Emmett's arm. I rested my hand in aro's, I let go of Aiden's so the he only got my memories and not Aiden's too. I relaxed and showed him everything I wanted to show him. "I see..your mate is just like the child..." Aro said letting my hand go. Before I could answer they had Aiden on his knees and in a head lock. Emmett picked me up and ran back to everyone else, Aiden struggled in Felix's grip. "Aiden." I said I tried to get to him but Emmett held me back. "Let me go." I said "Vanessa stop, they are going to kill me anyway." He said "But-" I said "Kill him." Aro said I screamed as I watched Felix kill my mate.

I sat up quickly "NO!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I looked around and see I'm in my room, I heard footsteps. Edward came in followed by Emmett. "What's wrong?" Emmett asked sitting down in front of me. "She had a nightmare Emmett." Edward said I rocked back and forth. "What happened?" Emmett asked "They killed Aiden..." I said sobbing. "Who is they?" He asked "The Volturi." Edward said "Where is Aiden? I have to make sure he's okay." I said getting up and flashing downstairs. "He's gone." Emmett said I looked at him hurt. "What?" I asked my voice cracking. Edward punched Emmett's arm, Emmett shrugged rubbing his neck. "Sorry bad choice of words." Emmett said "Aiden's out with Bella hunting." Edward said "They won't mind if I drop in." I said running outside. I smelled the air and caught Aiden's scent, I ran through the the foggy forest looking for Aiden.

I saw Aiden running Bella close behind "Aiden!" I screamed as I tackled him in the forest floor. He laughed as I hugged and kissed all over his face. I cried into his chest "What's wrong?" He asked "It was terrible, I had a dream that the Volturi killed you." I explained he picked me up bridal style. "I'm here, it's okay I'm alive my heart is still beating, it will always beat for you." He said kissing my head. I smile "Your so corny." I said laughing. "So tell me about this dream. I started explaining everything, he listened closely. "I don't want to lose you" I said as he set me down. I walked up the back stairs of the porch. "I'm not going anywhere." He said grabbing my hand and turning me toward me. "But the dream-" I said he stopped me. "But the dream is just a dream it wasn't real, it probably won't happen." He said I crossed my arms, he grabbed my waist pulling me toward him. "Don't be a Debby's downer." He said "Live now and not later." He added I rolled my eyes. He pouted "You don't love me." He said "Never did." I said his jaw dropped as he let me go, I heard his heart beat quicken. "You don't mean that." He said sadly aww I made his sad. "I know I didn't mean it, I was just joking." I said I tried to hug him. "Don't touch me." He said I hugged him anyway. "Ugh get off me!" He groaned he dragged me in the house. "Get off me." He said I shook my head, I wrapped my legs around his waist. "I want you to get off of me." He said "No your mad at me.." I said "Fine I'm not mad anymore now get off." He said "Never!" I yelled "EMMETT!" Aiden yelled Emmett ran over. "What's up?" He said smiling. "Get her off me." He said Emmett grabbed me, he pulled me off Aiden. "Thank you." He said Emmett set me down. I crossed my arms huffing. "Fine, don't mess me with later." I said walking around "Baby please don't go!" Aiden yelled running after me. I smirked, and turned around. I felt his lips on mine, I relaxed and kiss him. "NO PDA!!" I heard Bella yell I pulled away. "Than what do you call what you and Edward do in front of everyone?" I asked she blushed "Non of your business!" She said running away to find Edward. "Yeah uh hu run to your Edward PDA MANIAC!" I yelled after her, I heard her scream shut up. I started laughing Aiden picked me up and we went upstairs and relaxed nothing else, we relaxed I promise you we just relaxed.
