            This whole day was a complete disaster. I watched X lay on my bed while I went to go take a nice long shower. While I was in the shower so many thoughts were going through my head. What if X likes Rose more than me? I know he’s attracted to her. Then she has Jaden on top of that. I didn’t care too much for him though. It was X who I was worried about. She will have them both! I can’t let that happen. I’ll just have to cheat on X with somebody… that’s it! I’ll get another boyfriend. I hopped out of the shower and dried off. X was lying down watching Ohio State vs. Miami basketball game.

            “Are you attracted to my cousin?” I got straight to the point.

            “I mean she’s cute, but I got you baby… I’ll never go after her.” He said pulling my bare body on top of him. I got from atop of him and went to put on my pajamas. Just as I thought he does like her. I really have to get another boyfriend now… I know X and he will go after her. I was thinking to myself as I walked out of my room into my mother’s. I really didn’t fuck with my mother like that but when I needed some advice I went straight to her.

            “Mom, are you up?” I walked in her room and she was reading a book called Memoirs.

            “Yes, what’s up?” I laughed. My mother always had to add something hood to what she was saying.

            “Can I talk to you about something?” I asked already knowing the answer.

            “Now why would you ask a question you already know the answer to? Talk to me baby.” She put down the book she was reading and gave me her full attention.

            I sat down on her bed. “Okay see I’m afraid I’m going to lose X to Rose. Rose is really pretty mama, and I’m not saying that I’m not.” I flipped my hair showing my cockiness. “But X loves red bones and when we were getting tattoos I walked in on them and it looked like they were about to kiss, he made up some phony lie. I wasn’t born yesterday I knew what they were doing but I dropped it anyway. I was thinking that I should hit him hard where it hurts before he gets me… is that a good idea?”

            She shook her head. “Of course not, but it is something that somebody your age would do, all I can say is approach Rose and Xavier and tell them what you’re thinking.”

            I sighed. “Okay goodnight.”

            “Goodnight baby.”

            I shut her door and walked over to Rose room and put my ear to the door. I heard nothing so I just went in my room in went to bed. I had a lot on my mind.

            Xavier and Jaden went home the next morning. I saw Rose in the kitchen eating some cereal. I ignored her and went back into my room and did my toe nails. A little while later Rose knocked on my door. I told her to come in.

            “What’s up little ‘cuz?” I continued doing my nails.

            “Hey, I just wanted to apologize about what happened. I’m really sorry and I don’t want anything between us to be ruined.” She sat on the edge of my bed.

            “It’s cool. I know how X is you don’t have to apologize. Just stay away from X.” I said seriously looking into her eyes. She nodded her head then asked me if I could do her nails. Once I was done with mines I started on hers. While I was doing her nails I told her all about my wild sex life. She seemed so into it.
