Gabriel’s POV
I thought to myself, should I call Serena? I just kept thinking and thinking about it and then I finally made a decision… I took out my phone and called Serena’s house phone seeing as I still have her mobile. After about 5 rings, she answered the phone,
“Hello?”
“Uhhh, Hi Serena”
“Gabriel?”
“Yeah, ummm, look, I uh, I just wanted to know if uh, you’d liked to go somewhere with me today”
“One moment”
I waited anxiously by the phone waiting for her answer, I don’t even know why I’m so nervous about it, I always have control but whenever I speak to Serena I lose my cool, it’s so weird,
“Hello?”
“Yeah, so what do you say?”
“Well, my dad says yes so I guess I can meet you at your house”
“No no no, I’ll uh, I’ll come and pick you up”
“Are you sure?”
“Positive, I’ll be there in 20”
“Okay, bye Gabriel”
“Bye Serena”
I hung up the phone and put it back in my pocket, I should really ask my mum and dad about this first though, you would’ve thought I done that already but no, that’s just me.
I grabbed my keys, Serena’s phone and my money, and walked downstairs to go find my parents and like always, they were in the living room,
“Mum, dad”
They both turned around “Yes Gabriel?”
“Can I go out today?”
I know if I asked my mum she would’ve said yes but since my dad is here aswell, it’s going to be complicated. My dad got up,
“With who?”
“Serena”
“Where?”
“I haven’t got that far yet”
“What time will you be back?”
“Whatever time I get back”
He raised an eyebrow at me “Excuse me?”
“I mean, no later than 10”
“That’s what I thought you said… Aria?”
“Just let him go J, he’s 18 and he’s going out with his little crush”
“Mum! She’s a friend, that’s it”
She rolled her eyes “Whatever you say”
I looked at my dad again “Go, before I change my mind”
I quickly walked out of the living room and went to the garage. I took the keys for the black BMW and got in the car. Luckily she told me where she lived yesterday otherwise I’d be screwed right now, talk about looking like an idot.
*At Serena’s*
I walked up to Serena’s house and rang the doorbell and unfortunatley for me, her dad answered,
