Gabriel’s POV
We finally got to our destination after about 45 minutes of sitting in the car. I faced Serena,
“You ready?”
“I’m nervous”
“Why?”
“Look at this place, this is a high class restaurant and I’m just your average girl”
“You are definitely not average, especially when you look as breathtaking as you do right now”
She smiled and I took her hand in mine. We got out of the car and walked into the restaurant,
“Table for how many?”
“I have a reservation”
“Name?”
“Gabriel Arymiyoni”
He proceeded to look through his reservation book until he finally came across me name,
“Right this way”
We followed the guy towards our table and I felt Serena grip my hand a bit tighter, probably from all the stares we were getting. We eventually got to our table and I pulled out the chair for her,
“Thank you”
I smiled and walked over to the other side and sat down opposite her. She picked up the menu,
“Oh wow”
“What?”
“Have you seen these prices?”
I laughed “I got it covered”
“I can’t make you pay for this, it’s too much”
“It’s our first date, I’m paying for it regardless”
“You know I would’ve been okay with something simpler right?”
“Yeah I know but you deserve this and I want to show you how much I love you”
She smiled “That’s so sweet”
She grabbed my hand from under the table and I stroked the back of it with my thumb. Eventually someone came over to take out order and much to my dismay it was one of my past girlfriends, the worst one of them all, let’s just say she didn’t handle the break up too well,
“Well hello Gabriel”
“Arianna”
“I see your still messing about with girls feelings then”
“What makes you think that?”
“There’s a girl right in front of you and we all know what your like, is she like number 4 this week?”
“Actually no”
“Oh so there were more?”
“You don’t know anything”
“I know that you’re a good for nothing asshole that plays with girls hearts like their toys”
I looked at Serena “Sorry about this, can you just excuse me for a minute?”
She sighed “Be quick”
I nodded, grabbed Arianna’s wrist and literally dragged her away from the table, out of Serena’s sight completely. I turned to face Arianna,
