Serena’s POV
I woke up happy. There’s not much to add to that really. I turned over to face Gabriel to see that he was still sleeping but he had his arm draped over my waist and it felt so comforting, I felt safe.
“Gabe?”
He stirred slightly but he didn’t wake up,
“Gabriel?”
Still nothing. Okay so calling his name obviously isn’t going to work at this point so I think I should just move onto plan B. I leaned forward and gently pressed my lips to his and he didn’t waste anytime responding either. He tightened his grip on my waist and pulled me closer to him. He intensified the kiss a bit more and even though it was early morning, I really didn’t care. He rolled on top of me but placed his hands on either side of my head so that he was hovering over me. He leaned his forehead against mine and smiled,
“Nice wake up call”
“I was planning on throwing cold water on your face but this seemed better”
“And you know I would have chased you”
“I wouldn’t have minded that” I moved my eyes to look at his abs “Looking like that, I definitely wouldn’t have minded”
He laughed “I could get used to this”
I smiled “So could I”
He leaned down to kiss me again but I placed a finger on his lips before he could,
“Shower first”
He smirked “You wanna come?”
“In your dreams baby”
“Let me go back to sleep then”
I laughed “Get up Gabriel”
He laughed and moved off of me. He grabbed a towel from his drawer and walked to the bathroom,
“You sure you don’t wanna come?”
I nodded “Positive, now go in the shower before I push you in there myself”
“I’ll just keep you in there with me then”
“Go!”
He laughed “Okay okay, but you better still be here when I come out, you look even sexier in the mornings”
He winked at me before going into the bathroom and locking it. I got out of the bed and stretched. I looked in the mirror to find my hair looking a bit messed up so I grabbed my brush and straightened it out a bit. I walked downstairs to find Hailey already in the kitchen,
“Morning”
“Oh Serena, you’re up early”
“Yeah, I usually am, I woke up Gabriel in the process”
"I’m guessing you had to kiss him awake?”
“Yeah how did you know that?”
“I done the same thing to Jairo, I still do, he’s such a deep sleeper”
“I’m guessing Gabriel gets that from him then?”
“Yep, annoyingly enough”
I sat down at the table,
