Gabriel’s POV
“You ready to go Gabriel?”
I looked at my watch “It’s only 3 o’ clock”
“Yeah but I want to get home to my wife”
I smiled “You still miss her?”
“Of course, she’s my better half”
“Cute, I hope me and Serena stay like that”
“So you two are back together then?”
I nodded “Yeah, she took me back”
“That’s great, just try not to mess it up again”
“I won’t mess it up”
“Good”
My dad’s phone went off indicating that he had received a text message,
“Who is it?”
“Your mum, your aunty is there”
“Aunty Anna?”
He nodded “Yes, your only aunty”
I laughed “True, did she bring her fiancé?”
“Yes, I hate that guy”
“I hate him too and doesn’t he hate you?”
“Yeah, have no idea why”
“It’s a mystery”
He continued reading the message “Lukah is there as well”
“I’m not going home then”
“Why?”
“Lukah is a little brat; he has no respect for anyone, he’s only 8 but he acts like he owns everything”
“Doesn’t matter, you’re still coming home”
“I’m bringing Serena though”
He sighed “Fine”
“Let’s leave now then so I can pick her up”
“I’ll meet you at home and you better be home by the time I get there”
“Okay fine, see you later”
“Bye”
I walked out of his office and walked towards the car park,
“Bye Jennifer”
“Bye Gabriel”
I walked out of the studio completely and got in the car. I took out my phone and dialled Serena’s number,
“Hello?”
“Yeah Serena, where are you?”
“Just about to walk out of school”
“Okay, stay in the car park”
“Why?”
“I’m coming to pick you up so we can go back to mine”
“Okay” I could here the confusion in her voice,
“See you in 20”
“Alright”
“Bye”
“Bye”
I put my phone back in my pocket and put the key in the ignition. I started the engine and drove off towards the school.
