Gabriel’s POV
“So Serena, where did you move from?”
We’re at dinner and my mum and dad have decided to ask her questions, non-stop questions,
“Central London, my dad wanted a change so we moved”
“What does your dad do?”
“He’s an accountant”
“An accountant? That’s a good job, they earn quite a lot”
“It’s enough”
My dad nodded “I’m going to get straight to the point” Serena nodded and I put my head in my hands “You’ve been with Gabriel for about 3 weeks now and I’m surprised you fell in love so quick but I’m not one to judge. We consider you a part of the family but that could change in an instant”
“Dad!”
Serena put a hand up stopping me from continuing,
“Its okay, let him finish”
“Like I said that could change quickly so I’m going to let you know this. Usually I’d be giving this talk to Sierra’s boyfriends but your Gabriel’s girlfriend so that same thing goes, sorry about this Gabriel”
“No no, don’t mind me”
My dad rolled his eyes and looked back at Serena “Hurt my son and I won’t be happy”
“Honestly J? Getting a bit dramatic aren’t you?”
He laughed “Yeah right, I know you gave her the same talk not long ago”
“Mine was softer than that though”
“Really now?”
My mum nodded “Yeah, really”
I laughed “Honestly dad”
He looked at me “What?”
“Like you don’t know”
“I honestly don’t”
“Mum knows”
I looked at mum with a look that said ‘Go along with it’
“How could you not know J?”
“Know what?”
I laughed “You’re really not getting it dad”
“Getting what? I am so confused right now”
“It’s cool, you don’t need to know”
“Oh my gosh, what don’t I need to know? Aria?”
My mum laughed and was about to reply but Serena said something before she got the chance,
“Sorry to interrupt your argument” I laughed “But why do you call Hailey Aria, I’ve always wanted to know”
Every time mum and dad meet someone, they always ask the same question but I do understand why it confuses them. My dad smiled,
“Because I like her second name which is Priskaria so I just shortened it”
“Do you still like her second name now dad?”
“Of course, I always will”
I thought for a moment “What’s your second name Serena?”
