AUTHOR'S NOTE:
YAY! CHAPTER 2! The title was actually a nickname for my ex-boyfriend from my best friend. She called him Angel Boy because he always called me angel. LOL. And the title is based on something else in the story so... yeah LOL.
Picture of Warren on the side :)

Chapter 2 (Angel Boy)
My aunt smiled. “Lacey, meet the Kings’! They are our neighbours. This is Lisa, Thomas, and their son Warren,” she said, excitedly.
I walked closer to them, as Lisa smiled at me. “Lacey Sawyer, it is nice to meet you!” she said.
I smiled. “Likewise.”
Thomas smiled at me. “Hey Warren, you are around Lacey’s age. Maybe you can show her around town. You guys will be great friends!” he said to the teenaged boy, Warren.
Warren stared at me for a bit, before nodding. “Yeah, sure. Maybe after dinner,” he said, giving me a small smile.

“So, Lacey, do you play any sports?” Lisa asked at the dinner table as we ate.
I shook my head. “Not anymore. I used to be on the volleyball team in Junior High but I got sick of it. I used to do ballet when I was 7 and I was on the swim team from Junior High to High School but after the accident, I stopped. I like to jog, though,” I said awkwardly.
Lisa gave me a sad smile. “I am so sorry to hear about your parents but it will be better, I promise. Hey, Warren likes to jog too. Maybe you guys can go running together sometime,” she said, flashing Warren a smile.
Warren shrugged. “Maybe,” he mumbled, still into his food.

After dinner, Thomas had a good idea. “Warren, why don’t you take Lacey out? Get to know her,” he said.
My aunt and uncle smiled. “That’s a great idea! Don’t you think so, Lacey?” my aunt asked, smiling.
Warren frowned a little bit awkwardly. “Um, actually, I would like to take you out but I really wanted to take a walk so…” he trailed off, looking at me.
I laughed, shaking my head. “That’s fine. I’m in the mood for a walk anyways.”
Uncle Sam smiled. “Great! So, you kids go and have fun. We’ll just be here,” he said, shooing us off.
Warren and I walked outside, the sun was setting. Hardly anyone was on the beach anymore. “This is beautiful,” I said, looking at the setting sun.
Warren nodded. “Definitely. I like to take walks at night just so I could see the sun setting. I do my best thinking at night. Sometimes, I even sneak out to go to the beach and think by myself sometimes. Is that weird?” he asked, looking at me.
I laughed, shaking my head. “It’s not weird. I like to think too. At my old house, we had a beach too and I would sneak out at night just to sketch the moon on the water. It is breathtaking.”
Warren raised his eyebrows. “You like to draw?”
I nodded. “Yeah, after my parents died and I gave up swimming, I decided to take up drawing.”
Warren nodded, impressed. “Cool… I’m a terrible drawer. I cannot draw stick people to save my life,” he joked.
I laughed. “Come on, you can’t be that bad. What are your hobbies?” I asked.
