Remember the times

Kim POV

My phone rang non stop during my meeting but I couldn't answer it because I was starting the kids line.

I called the number back once I got into my car and I was surprised to hear aunt Linda's voice on the other end. She sound like she has been crying and I under stood why she told me that grandma Kathy had a heart attack and is on her death bed and she wants to see all of her grand kids before she passes on. I don't know how I got home safely because I was crying the whole ride. I went straight to my room and changed my clothes I threw on a tank top with some running shorts. I curled up into a ball just crying until the doorbell rang. I wiped my tears away and zombiefied my way to the door. I opened the door to have Iyanna and Ayden giving me a big hug telling me they had fun with uncle jay.

I looked up at Jay and gave him the we need to talk look

"Mommy why are you crying?" Iyanna asked.

"Umm because mommy missed you. I want you and Ayden to go in the tub and I will be there in a minute ok."

"Ok!" She said running up the steps.

I told jay what happened and he got real emotional since I didn't want him to drive home cause it was late I told him to stay in the guess room.

I didn't sleep at all I just kept thinking about the times I had with grandma in Tennessee.
