A tear slips from my eyes as they all come and hug me tightly. Like I said, the Fray home always has a happy air and no matter how you're feeling, something happens to make everything better.

"Where have you been?"

"Why'd you leave?"

"And hello didn't you realize your birthday passed I dunno about two weeks ago?!"

A mixture of emotions were thrown at me as well as questions that I'm not sure I could answer yet. What crosses my mind now is Alec. He probably realized I left and will probably be after me soon, and I won't be getting any warm welcomes.

But they're my best friends, and they deserve to know what the hell happened because they didn't deserve what they went through with my disappearance.

"Come on," I grab Eclipse's hand and head towards my room with them following my trail. I sit them down on my bed and I remain standing.

"Promise to not be angry at me?" I was begging more than I was asking, and out of curiosity they agreed to my request. I look down at my stomach and slowly lift up my shirt, the wind rushing onto my skin eagerly.

"Valentina. Are you what I think you are? Or did you get crazy belly fat in just three months?" Eclipse chuckles and walks up to touch my belly, it tickled and gave me a warm feeling inside that my best friend whom I've known for the longest is accepting the new me.

"Unfucking believable." Dawn scoffs, folding her arms in childish disbelief.

"What?" We all turn to her and ask, she gives us her signature pout and sucks in air which she does when she's about to say something blunt, but she doesn't want to say it.

"How the hell did you both get pregnant before me?" Dawn pauses and closes her eyes to regain composure and the opens her mouth to speak again, "Tobias and I have been trying for months because the pack wants to know that the pack will be safe for another generation and we've had no luck. I've tried everything: I've visited wolf renowned fertility doctors, I've asked my mom, I even went to Italy and asked for a surrogate to carry my child with no luck!" Dawn begins to ball, slapping her hands onto her eyes in humiliation. Guilt crashing onto me like waves. I stay standing, my belly still exposed.

Melody scoots closer to Dawn and rubs her thin shoulders.

"Who's the both?" I ask, and as soon as I say it I regret it because Dawn gives me a look of disgust and shakes her head with disappointment. I realized how selfish I was being neglecting the fact that there is a loot of pressure being put on Dawn as the Luna of our pack... and then it hit me... I'm Alec's Luna; the Luna of all Wolves of the West. I take a seat on the fluffy couch behind me, pulling the sweater back over my stomach.

"Valentina," I turn to the voice to see Eclipse standing up and I soon see what Dawn meant by both. My eyes widen as I look from Eclipse's stomach to her face. What a turn of events.

"Gideon and I are having our first pup. I found out a couple of weeks before you left. I just didn't want to tell anyone till I was comfortable," She says, clearing her throat uncomfortably and sitting back down on the bed with a thud. Her stomach as larger than mine, showing even with her very baggy sweater.

"Pup?"

"Yeah. The doctor told me that women who get pregnant by non- Alphas usually have one baby at a time. Since you're pregnant, I guess you found your mate, right?" Eclipse asks, but we both knew she was just trying to force me to speak and confess to our friends what was really gone. She gives me the you-better-tell-or-I-will look and I know she's right, they're going to find out once Alec finds out where I am.
