Cyrus stopped and looked at her.

Distressed Amitis kept on rolling her eyes and finally she replied, "We were not Husband and wife" and those words of her words flew like a wind from her mouth within a fraction of second.

At once Cyrus burst out in laughing since she told the word which he expected after a long hesitation and he was happy to know that she too had realized that the Old couples had identified as husband and wife.

Amitis stood quiet since she was tensed thinking that Cyrus might be teasing her then because, as per her mind set Cyrus didn't have any attraction towards her and also she felt that he would have felt awkward on knowing that she had felt that the old couple had meant them as husband and wife.

Cyrus noticed the face of upset Amitis who has been looking at the ground expecting words of teasing from him.

Her mind said that Cyrus would be saying, "Amitis, how funny you are? How can you think like that? Don't you know that I belong to the royal blood? Don't you know that you belong to the warrior clan? Then how could you think that the Old couples had thought that we were husband and wife? Don't you know that you are not worthy even to think like that? You are skilled but you proved that you are an idiot."

Her mind had started to hurt her with those words but she has been waiting to hurt herself more expecting those words from his mouth.

Cyrus went to her, "Amitis I have a principle, I will never stop a person who was about to give out a blessing and I stopped you from saying the truth because I didn't wanted them to regret on the blessings which they gave us." Saying he pats her head.

Amitis smiled at once and she felt happy because he hasn't teased her as per her expectations and his words registered in her mind with a meaning that he stopped her from saying the truth to avoid the old people from being hurt on regretting about the blessings which they had given them.

But her killer smile penetrated the heart of him.

His heart asked her, "Why do I like you more and more every day?"

At once Arsama, whose bridle was in the hands of Cyrus neighed which brought Cyrus to the real world.

He started to walk with her talking about horses the place around them etc.

Amitis realized that she has been feeling comfortable with him and he sensed the decreasing distance which she has been maintaining with him.

When they crossed the market place of that village at noon, Cyrus bought food for themselves and for their horses.

Amitis got irritated when she saw a girl selling frankincense flirting with Cyrus.

But he loved to see his Amitis getting jealous and her expression conveyed him that he was a special person in her life.

But he flirted purposely with her in turn to admire her expression.

Finally she lost her patience and raised her voice saying, "I'm hungry" and he noticed her throwing an angry look at the girl.

He just felt that he was at the top of the world. And he decided to stop making her jealous since he didn't wanted irritate her more.

Cyrus told himself, "Amitis you just made me to understand that I have a place in your heart and now I promise you that I'll make you my queen and the whole world would get jealous on you." saying he took her to a food shop.

While buying food, Cyrus saw her eyes admiring at beautiful attire at a shop in the market place secretly. But he pretended as if he hasn't noticed anything.
