Zara heard someone calling her name from behind and when she turned she found that it was Zahir who was standing with a greeting card and a rose.

Zahir, "Hi Zara . "

Zara stuttered (as she hadn't expected him at that moment)," Za.. Zahir how did you came? You went to the tournament right?"

Zahir smiled saying, " I came back because I thought that the tournament was not important for me. I came... I just came to tell you...that "

Zara understood that Zahir was about to propose her and to avoid him she tried to move away saying, "Za.. Zahir I have to go home see you tomorrow."

But at once Zahir clasped her hands saying, "Zara stop, I knew that you have the feelings on me which I have on you. I know you performed in this drama thinking of me in the place of Romeo. I missed you a lot and I came just to propose you tonight. I love you Zara. Don't hide the love which is in you for me." saying he tried to kiss her.

Zara started to run pushing him away and Zahir chased her calling out her name and asking her to stop. 

Zara ran towards the staircase of the laboratory block of the school which was visible to her eyes at that moment. The block stood only with the moon light on it.

 Zahir chased her calling out her name his voice echoed in the empty corridor along with the faded cheering sound of the students and people at the auditorium because of the presentation ceremony .

Zara ran to the staircase and when she reached the first floor her mind reminded her of the way to the staircase which was at the other end of the same building which led to the auditorium.  

When Zara was about to get down on the staircase Zahir who was about to catch her, got slipped and at once both of them fell down and they rolled down the  staircase one on the other up to the ground floor corridor.
