# 7 HER SACRED WORD

Niramitra replied after a long hesitation, "I'm the king of Sidia, Samrat Ayuta Niramitra ."

Amitis was spell bound and she was unable to believe her own ears. she was shocked to hear that her teacher was a king of a great empire. 

Niramitra continued, " My child, Even though I lived as a great king and an unbeatable warrior in my kingdom with knowledge, richness and every goodness of this world. I'm unaware of a thing called 'Betrayal' which disables the courage of the heart, the ability of our mind to think and destroys every factor of life.

 The chief commander of my kingdom betrayed me; he killed my father, my mother and my wife with slow poison. My fault was that I trusted him blindly in each and everything. I used to accept every suggestion and plan of him. I trusted him more than my parents and my family. That's why I believed his words when he said that my father, mother and wife had died because of illness. I as well as my family treated him as a family member.

But one night my minister informed me that my chief commander had declared himself as a king and he made my people to believe that I and my Son were dead suddenly as my father, mother and wife. My faithful minister helped me to escape with my son but my unfaithful chief commander with the warriors of his side killed my minister and chased us. He cut off my right leg and he tried to kill my son in front of my eyes but I  managed to escape with my son, but on my way I understood that they had already fed my son with poison. He left chasing us when I caught in a flooded river with my son while escaping. I think that he might had left deciding that flood would be killing us for sure. But I survived the flood with my son and I tried my best to make my son alive. At that instant I never thought of getting my kingdom back but I wanted my son back.

That's why at that rainy night, I had no option rather than seeking shelter in your palace. But at last my efforts failed and I lost my beloved son. When your grandmother asked about me, I told that I was a refuge from my Kingdom and I told that I knew battle arts since I have been a servant for a great scholar of my Kingdom. My situation forced me to hide the truth though I know that your family belongs to the warrior clan of Menidia. Even though hiding truth was a sin, our scripture had taught me that telling lie for a good thing would be having the same benefit of saying truth.

My teacher Matreya was the renowned scholar of the world. I was the one among his 4 important disciples and I got this privilege since I was a royal as well as the 'to be King' prince of Sidia. I don't want the skills to destroy with me so I wished to teach the skills which I had learned to my son and I wished to make him excel in the skills like me. But my wish disappeared in front of my eyes.

Losing my leg and more than that losing my son had almost driven me insane.  But when I saw you, I saw my son in you. It was you who awaken the dream inside me again and I wished to teach you each and every skill which I had learned, so that you can carry those skills to the future.

If you were a boy I would have asked you to invade the Yudush kingdom and kill that wicked chief commander. Don't think that I was betraying my kingdom but I wanted to save my people and also I wanted to revenge him for betraying and destroying my family without any mercy to get the throne. But..."

Amitis interrupted saying, "Yudush kingdom? Teacher you said that you are the king of Sidia."

Niramitra laughed, "That wicked Chief commander Yudush Biswasena had renamed my Sidian kingdom after his name as Yudush kingdom. He dishonored my ancestors by changing the name of my kingdom. He broke the principles of our kingdom by cruelly conquering and expanding the kingdom towards the east. He was a tyrant; my people were suffering under his rule. I came to know that he has been forcing my people to involve in the war against other kingdoms. Though your Menidian kingdom in the west was more powerful than his, he was just defending himself from your kingdom."
