She went to her room and she sat near the window and kept on looking at the place in the forest where Cyrus has been standing. It was a full moon day and she cried looking at the moon since she used to talk with the moon assuming it as Cyrus. It was the same thing which Cyrus used to do. He used to talk with the moon assuming it as Amitis.

Amitis kept on talking to the moon saying, "Why do you come again? Why are you doing this to me? How can I be the queen? You know I can't bear a disappointment that's why I'm running away from you. Even after knowing your love with me I was unable to express mine because I'm afraid. What if the King denies the throne for you if something like that had happened because of me the Menidian Empire and my clan would be cursing me for sure? When Bessus called her for dinner she refused to eat and she kept on looking at the woods all over the night. She kept consoling herself thinking that Cyrus would have left that place already. But an intuition in her kept on saying her that he was still there in the woods.

Amitis fell asleep sitting near the window.

At about midnight the cold wind woke her up and she realized that she had fallen asleep. She noticed the red sky which had covered up the full moon with all its might told her that it was about to shower the rain shortly. The cold wind made her to shiver.

The lightning in the sky frightened her and showed the strength of the rain which was about to shower.

Amitis left the palace with a burning torch and started to run towards the woods. She never heard the thunder which shouted to show its power.

She went to the place where she met Cyrus before and she saw him sitting on the same low lying branch of a tree. On seeing Amitis, Cyrus got down from the tree and stood before her.

At the very instant of seeing him, her emotions exploded in to sobbing on seeing her loved one again whom she thought would had left already. She dropped the torch and rushed to him.

She hugged him and her arms wrapped his neck. Meanwhile he lifted her up so that her feet left the ground. Her hold revealed her love on Cyrus.

The thunder and the lightning played in the sky as if they were celebrating their love.

After a long hug he clutched her face in his arms and at once the lightning flashed to reveal the love filled eyes of Cyrus to Amitis and the tears filled eyes of Amitis to Cyrus.

Cyrus felt hurt when he saw those tears filled eyes of her.

He wiped her tears asking, "You tried to hide everything from me right. I don't want you to cry when I'm with you. I know about your hesitation. Don't worry about it. I'll make your clan proud by making you my queen, my wife. Not one of the queens or wives. But the one and only beloved wife of Cyrus, The magnificent Queen of great Menidian Empire. "

Amitis replied, "Is this is possible."

Cyrus nodded, "Yes it is" saying he kissed her lips.
