#25 THEIR LOVE- ALIVE AGAIN

At a point Adrian lost his patience, at once he clutched her right hand which has been playing on the piano and he looked at her face to read her expression.

Joan's eyes which were filled with tears started to flutter and she tried to take away her hands from his hold.

But He tightened his hold instead of leaving her.

She tried to get back herself from him but his hold made her to stay at the piano bench.

Her expressions made him distressed and he asked, "Joan what happened to you? I want to know the matter which you had been hiding from me."

Joan turned her face away from the direction where she sensed his voice.

He clutched both her hands pulling them to make her turn towards him.

Adrian,"Joan tell me the reason behind your behavior? Have I done anything wrong?"

Joan who kept on turning away from the direction of his voice, shook her head but tears kept on flowing down from her eyes.

Adrian who lost his patience pulled her to him and he embraced her in his arms.

Her forehead rested on his chest and her arms wrapped around him.

At once Joan burst in to tears and Adrian caressed her head. He kept quiet since he wanted all her worries to come out through those tears.

He felt pain in his heart on seeing her crying.

Joan stuttered while crying, " In my life I haven't missed anyone other than my mother. But  when I missed you in the past week, I realized that I had been missing you more than my mother. I was unable to sleep and eat at  those days.Even though I was blind My heart kept waiting for you. And today when you came back I just controlled my emotions and feelings which tried to burst out on hearing your voice and sensing your presence near me. I was confused about these feelings in me. That feeling inside me wanted you to be with me always. I was unable to spent even a second without thinking of you. I wanted to live in your care and comfort. This feeling inside me has been driving me crazy on you. I ... I'm in love with you. "

Adrian kept quiet listening to her but his eyes were filled with tears on realizing her feeling for him by her words.

Joan got up and her sad eyes faced him.she clasped his hand tightly saying , "But don't mistake me for my feelings with you. I know I was blind. And I was not supposed to have feelings like this. But.."

Before she completed the sentence Adrian kissed her lips embracing her in his arms.

It was a long prolonged kiss and her hands sensed his face for the very first time.

Adrian hugged her while Joan wrapped her hands tightly around him and he started to speak softly, " I'm in love with you already. Don't say that you are blind. I will be your eyes and I mean it. You know Joan,your expressive eyes were so beautiful and those eyes swept me out of my feet at its first stare. That feeling inside me keeps on saying that I have been waiting for ages to live with you ."

Joan giggled, "I too feel the same. But now tell me why haven't you come to see me all these days?"

Adrian tightening his hold on her, " I went busy preparing my choir for an event which was presided by the pope. I didn't do it purposely I know that you will miss me and I tried my best at-least to convey the information but I was locked in that unavoidable situation. I missed you a lot and I asked GOD to take care of you until I come back." saying he kissed her forehead.

Joan who has been resting her head on his shoulders giggled saying, " So how was the event."

Adrian replied, " It went well and we got complements from the Pope for our song. "
