Chapter 5

Bethanies pov..

I push open the door with an angry face. Miss Adams stares at me in shock.

"Miss Adams it wasn't Marcel! It was Ray Ray! He was about to take my lunch and Marcel was being nice and helped me out! Please believe me!" I say. She sighs and shakes her head.

"Bethanie this is no time for trying to stick up for your friends! Marcel needs to learn!" She says. Now I'm a bit nervous.

"But..."

"No buts Miss Lynn now get back to lunch before I give you a detention." I look at the teary Marcel in the chair. He nods his head. I feel bad for him I have to admit. I back out of the room and close the door slowly. Johnny runs up to me.

"Where's Marcel?" He asks.

"He's getting a detention because of me!" I say. Harvey gasps.

"He's never gotten a detention before! Ever!" Harvey breaths. I nod. Leroy comes up behind me.

"Hey love!"

"Hi Leroy!" I sigh.

"Why so gloomy?" He asks with a bit of sadness in his voice.

"Well Marcel is getting a detention because of me!" I scream and run into the girls bathroom. They all try to stop me but can't. I sit in a stall and cry. I hear muttering outside.

"Beth?" A guys voice calls out. I think it's Marcel's.

"In here!" I say. He comes over. I don't unlock the door. I see his hands on the ground and he dips in.

"Marcel!" I cry out. He gets up and wipes himself off.

"Hey babe, don't cry!" He says. I cry harder into his shoulder. He holds me close. When I pull away he looks me in the eyes.

"Don't let anyone ever judge you or change you. I want you to stay true to yourself. Please tell me that you will do that?" He says. I sniff.

"I promise I will do that Marcel!" I say. I look up into his deep green eyes. Then I notice he is slowly leaning in. Like to kiss me. I stand there in shock so when he gets to my lips. One last look and they gently press together. I immediately feel sparks. His lips are soft and smooth. Our lips move in sync. When he lets go I want more but I can't have more right now. He smiles at.

"Thanks! I've always wanted to do that. And I like you too!" He says. I blush and look down to the ground. He grabs my chin.

"I mean it too!" Man he's good with this stuff. Even though he's a nerd he's really good with things like this.

"I like you too!" I say back. He smiles and grabs my hand.

"Now lets go so we can get to math!" He says. I sigh and let him take me to math. His big soft hands are soft. They are comforting. Leroy, Harvey, Johnny, and Veronica all left to go to their math classes. Marcel dropped me off and left for his. I didn't even know he left till I turned around. Math was boring as usual. But I answered every answer correctly and got an A plus on a test. When it was finally time to go home I went home and did homework. The last thing I want to do is forget to do my homework. Wait, I didn't see Marcel, Harvey, Johnny, Leroy or Veronica on the bus home. That's weird? Well after I finished my long homework I got in bed. I had given Marcel my number and he gave all the others my number.

"Night Beth!" I get a text from Marcel. I smile. He's nice! I like him. A lot!

I wake up to the sweet smell of citrus. Citrus? Uh okay. I get up and rub my eyes to clear my vision. Then I put my glasses on and get up. I put on just some kapris and a shirt that says love on it. When I go downstairs I'm greeted by my family who is eating orange muffins.

"Is this a new recipe?" I ask. She nods "Found it on the the Internet. It's called citrus breakfast!" She says. I laugh.

"No duh!" I say and sit down. When I take a bit the flavor rushes into my mouth. It tastes so wonderful!

"Oh mum! These are amazing!" I sigh in relief. When I look at the clock I have to go.

"See yah mom! Love you!" I say giving her a kiss. When I get to the bus stop all the usuals are there. But when I get on the bus Marcel isn't there. Veronica isn't there. Harvey isn't there. Leroy isn't there. Johnny isn't there. But of course Zayn, Liam, Harry, Louis, and Niall are all there. I sit I the back alone. Damn I'm going to have a bad day!
