The whole time I was here I was really bored . August came out after a couple hours and sat next to me

"Hungry yet"

"No I'm bored"

"Look here" he gave me money and I looked in my hand and back at him

"B.j gone drive you up to a mall ah sum thin just get some stuff to wear fa the next couple of days "

"What about you"

"Imma be cool, just go"

"August what are you up to"

"Now dat we ain't in Vermont no mo. I gotta make sure we living okay.......I gotta really look out fa you cuz you don't have a normal appetite"

I stood up and pulled up my jeans

"What ever you do I just want you to know that I don't want you on somebody's corner this time"

I looked back and he slouched down looking at me

"Tell you what .......I promise right hand that I won't be standing on anyone's corner"

I looked in his eyes and he smirked

"Now go"

I left out getting into b.j's car he started driving and I thought of Vermont and what everyone at the house is up to right now

"Soooo how long you've been friends with young "

"Long time now"

"For real *smiles* he says your pretty cool nd he really loves you like a sis ya know"

"Yeah"

I nodded and looked out the window...sister........I'm real tired of the sister tag that blew my whole attitude for the day  I didn't wanna talk to no one after I got my clothes b.j brought me back to the house I went inside and sat down

"You got ya stuff"

"Here"

He gave me a black cup with a straw and I took it taking a sip thinking it was water but it was blood, I drunk more and sat back closing my eyes

"What is she drinking"

"Ahh lil fruit punch "

I finished the cup and gave it to August and he walked away while I licked my lips looking up and seeing a boy looking at me and he smiled. I looked away and sat on the couch for another couple of hours

"Ight  so when is the drop"

"Tommorrow night, nd we should be good" Lucas said

I nodded and rubbed my face we gotta good trick up our sleeves and I'm glad we startin dis shit early

"Ayeee man who is that" Lucas asked looking at Logan take things out her bag and admire them

"Logan.....she's cool my lil homegurl "

"She a cute lil thang"

I smirked and shook my head no matter whea I take ha some nigga wanna talk to her

"Can't have dat l.j"

I licked my lips and got up going over there sitting next to Logan and watching her

"What" she said bluntly

"I'm just checking up on you"

"Wass up wif dis lil attitude I ain't feelin dis shit"

"I just don't wanna waste time talking to you right now"

She said looking down tucking hair behind her ear and grabbing something else out the bag , I pulled her close and she pushed me away

"Don't fucking touch me"

"Because I'm like a sister " she said looking at me I squinted and still pulled her closer

"Wass wrong with you being like a sister I don't get it"

"You don't kiss and rub up on a sister that's what"

I looked at her lips and went in for it and kissed her best believe she ain't pull away but when I did she smacked me and got up walking away, I licked the blood off my lip cuz she put in some real power into that smack , and got up going back to the dining table

"You hit that" b.j asked

"Naaaaa......I told you (GCO)"

"She like a sis....nigga you slow" b.j said Lucas shook his head and looked down, everyone that ran into Logan know they can't mess with her as long as I'm around

"Any way enough bout lo lets get dis money" I said after a while of joking with them I looked over seeing Logan sleeping I got a blanket and put it over her going back to talk on ways to better me and lo's situation
