P.E. went by faster than I thought it would. When Elizabeth caught that baseball, I was stunned to say the least. I'd never seen anyone run so fast. I started to think back to when I winked at her, I'd watched her eyes turn black in anger and heard her growl before darting after the ball. Even when she threw the ball, it looked so effortless. Any human would have to throw hard to make the distance she did, I mean, most humans wouldn't even come close to making that throw. But she threw it's if it was nothing.

No. She can't be like me. Can she? I wondered. If she was like me, I knew she would be dangerous. And it wasn't going to be easy finding out.

Once school ended, I decided to follow Elizabeth home. I didn't want to take my car, so I started running next to her car, but in the cover of the woods, completely undetected. My wolf wanted out, so I shifted.

Once Elizabeth and some girl parked in front of a house, I decided to explore a bit. As I ran around, I saw a pond, a waterfall, and a deer herd. I stopped when I saw the deer. I was pretty hungry.

Why not? It won't hurt to take one. I licked my lips as I stalked toward a small fawn on the edge of the group of deer.

As soon as I was about to lunge, something big rammed into my side and made me skid away from the herd. I growled while getting up to my feet, but only to get slammed against a tree.

All I remember was seeming a massive black figure standing over me before I fell into unconsciousness.
