I woke up earlier than normal this morning. I found myself nervous as to what I was going to wear. I must have gone through seven outfits before I finally chose one.

My dress was a aqua color that only went down to the middle of my thigh, with a thick white belt and my shoes were white flats. To top it off, I put my wolf necklace on. I quickly put in some makeup. Just some eyeliner, mascara, cream eyeshadow, and pale pink lipstick.

I got downstairs and grabbed my keys. "Bye!" I called, but no one answered.

Kate was already in the car when I started to put the keys in the ignition. As I started to drive all she did was stare at me with wide eyes.

"Who's the lucky guy?" She asked.

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh, come on. You can't tell me that you just randomly picked that to wear." Kate said gesturing to my outfit.

"Well, no. But I still don't get why you asked who the lucky guy is."

"I think Miss She-Wolf has a little crush on somebody. And it's not Jace." She winked playfully at me.

"What? I do not! Speaking of him, Jace has been asking a little weird lately." I commented thoughtfully.

"Yeah I know. Maybe you should ask Michael about it." And with that she walked off.

I hadn't even noticed I had parked the car in the school's parking lot. I got out and started walking towards the school. My phone vibrated and I saw I had a text from Michael.

::Meet me in the courtyard. -M::

I quickly made my way over to the courtyard. It always seemed to amaze me even though I've seen it millions of times. Flowers everywhere, a water fountain right in the middle, and trees planted all over the place. It was just so peaceful.

I found Michael sitting on one of the many benches in the courtyard. He was staring at nothing in particular and looked deep in thought. I always thought he looked cute when he was thinking. A little frown plastered in his face and a hand on his chin, it all seemed adorable to me.

"Hey. You wanted to talk to me?" I asked causally.

"What? Oh, yeah. You'll want to sit down for this." He said. He looked torn between feeling upset or relieved.

I walked over to him and sat down. We were sitting so close, our thighs were touching. He ran a hand through his pitch black hair.

"Wow." Was all he said.

"What? What did I do?" Now I was worried.

Michael chuckled. "You didn't do anything wrong. I was just thinking how beautiful you look today."

"Thanks." I blushed scarlet.

"Hey, no prob. So are you ready to hear some bad news?"

"One minute." I said. I laced our fingers together and laid my head on his shoulder. "Ok, I'm ready."

Normally, you would think this is a weird way to get ready to here bad news, but this is how I handled things. Michael was always the one to calm me down in times like this. His was my rock. So, I was getting prepared.

"Ok." He said, finally looking up at me with his amazing hazel eyes. "Jace is cheating on you."

I stiffened and left tears well up in my eyes, but quickly blinked them away. I knew Michael would never lie to me, but I just didn't want to believe him this time.

"It's okay, Liz. You will be fine." He said soothingly.

"I... I know you wouldn't lie to me. You are telling the truth." I looked up into his eyes and saw no sign of lying in them.

"Liz, I'm-"

"I'm fine. Lets just go and hope we don't see him. And if we do, I'll ignore him."

"Ok. I'll walk you to Chem then. Come on, lets go."

We got up and he put his arm around my shoulder. In a way, we would look like a couple, but I could care less. I needed Michael right now. I would die without him, he does everything to make sure I am safe and happy.

"Well, I'll see you soon ok? Hold in there." Michael smiled sadly and kissed my forehead as we reached my classroom.

I sighed and gave him a small smile in return. Then, I walked into class and sat down at the station I did yesterday. Nick was already there.

"Morning!" He said cheerfully. Nick must have caught on to my mood, because then he asked more seriously, "Hey, what's wrong?"

I shook my head and said, "Not out loud." I pointed to my head.

He nodded and focused on saying something to me through our mind link. It was harder to do this when we were humans, though.

Is this good? Nick's voice echoed in my mind.

Yeah. You know my boyfriend, Jace? I asked. I could feel my anger towards Jace building up inside me.

Uh huh. Honestly, I don't like the guy. Anyway, what about him?

I just found out that he's cheating on me. I swallowed a growl that was rising in my throat.

"WHAT!" Nick yelled out loud in fury, causing the whole class to look at us.

"Shut up! What did I say!" I whisper yelled to him.

"Sorry." He muttered.

Everyone turned their attention back to Mr. Hicks. I sighed in relief.

"I hope this day goes by fast." I said a loud. So I can show you my territory.

"Yeah, me too." Nick replied. I can't wait.
