Mark Hunter's POV
~~~The minute I saw her, I knew it was Eli. She still looked exactly the same only older and more mature. More serious. She had the same long curly dark brown hair like mom and dad's blue eyes.
I got my sister back.
And now, she was standing here in my arms. Squeezing the living day lights out of me. God she's strong.
"Where have you been?" I whispered hoarsely, on the verge of tears.
"I was raised in Wyoming and I just bought a house in South Dakota."
I pulled back and she sat down on the bed. "You've been this close the whole time and never tried to come home?" I stared down at her with an angry glare.
"I didn't know I had another place to call home until two nights ago, Mark! Yeah I mean, I was told that I was adopted and all that, but when they said they didn't know where I came from or who my parents were, I dropped it. I've been having flashbacks of us lately. Mom, Dad, you and me. I'm just now getting my memory back, ok? And I don't even know why I lost it in the first place!" She practically screamed at me.
"Good to know you still have a short temper." I muttered to myself. Eli just glared at me.
"Good to know you're still a dic-"
My sister was cut off by the bedroom door suddenly swinging open.
"What on earth is all that noise?" Mom asked the same time Dad said:
"What's going on in here?"
Eli and I exchanged worried glances before facing them fully and smiling oh so sweetly. "Nothing." We sang, stretching out the word.
Ah, just like old times.
Our parents looked at us weirdly before their eyes settled in on Eli.
"Alpha Williams. What did you say your name was again?" Dad asked.
"I didn't, sir. And my name is-"
"Elizabeth. Her name is Elizabeth." I quickly intervened, knowing that she was going to lie to them. And by the glare I got from her, I was right.
Now she was nervous. I mean, who wouldn't be after not seeing your parents for almost 13 years?
"Uh, yeah. My name is Elizabeth." She swallowed audibly.
Mom and Dad stared at her in shock before Dad's face morphed into one of angry. "What kind of sick joke is this?" He bellowed, infuriated.
"There's no joke, Dad. Her name really is Eliza-"
"Stop! That name will not be spoken in this house nor will it ever be spoken in my presence. Nobody with that name will ever be welcome in my home. Understood?" He continued to yell.
I glanced at Eli and frowned when I saw her face fall and her lip tremble. I turned back to my father and glared.
"I just got her back! There is not way in hell that you're kicking her out! I'm not losing her again, Dad! Never again." I yelled back, my voice cracking slightly at the end.
I felt a hand place itself softly on my arm. "Mark, no. You don't have to. It's ok." She whispered.
"Like hell it's ok, Eli!" To say I was furious with my father was an understatement. "He has no right to kick his own daughter out of her home!"
Elizabeth Williams' POV
~~~And there it was. Mark said it. My cover is blown. Just perfect. I knew they wouldn't want me here the moment he called me for help. My eyes snapped over to my parents, only to see them frozen in shock again. I whimpered quietly and stepped slightly behind Mark. He then stepped all the way in front of me in a protective stance so I could no longer see my parents and they couldn't see me.
